Well let's be honest, the guy hasn't even gotten to the point where he's "flashed" during actual football games. He flashes in basically one out of four preseason games. He had a 28 yard TD in one preseason game in 2011 and a 31 yard catch in another preseason game in 2010. That's 13 catches for 175 yards and 2 TDs in 8 games.
its what happens when you move a guard to center...All these botched snaps are worrysome...

no argument from me...and i keep hearing the plays he is making is against likely camp cuts so we'll see...sounds encouraging at least
What exactly has Brian hartline done that has been impressive during actual games? The guy has been in the league for 3 years, has started 21 games the last 2 seasons and the best season he's put together was 43 receptions for 615 yards and 1 TD, hardly impressive in my book.Remember that Brian Hartline has impressed during actual regular season football games. When Roberto Wallace has had his chances during games...he's generally blown them.
This is the same argument I'd make with Hartline, he's shown flashes here and there but he is nowhere near a model of consistency. I guess my point is that while yes it is still early to say Roberto Wallace has earned anything, he should by all means get the nod over Hartline if he outperforms him in the offseason.I don't mean to sound harsh, I do agree with you that Roberto Wallace has made his presence felt and is looking more and more like a guy who can make the team. I think what is interesting is he's crossing over from being a guy that flashes to being a guy that consistently brings it in the practices. That's a very tough thing to do...going from being a strobe light to a flood light. But being realistic, he's not even assured of a roster spot yet, let alone a spot ahead of Brian Hartline.
Has Roberto Wallace made these plays against 1st string defenses or are they #2's and #3's?
