Todd McShay was just on ESPN and he was asked which NFL team would be the right fit for Andrew Luck and he said Miami. He felt we had the right supporting cast for him. Sounds good to me. Maybe Gruden or Cowher can install a great offense for him should we draft him.

As bad as we've been, we won't be anywhere near the position to draft andrew luck

Gotta get the number 1 pick, and somehow no matter how bad we are this year i have a feeling we will mess that up too

True...I cannot see us having the worst record in the league, but I never thought we would ever go 1-15 either. I think the Chiefs and Colts will win fewer games than us. The Vikings also look brutal. I would trade up for Luck, even if it cost us some picks. We need a franchise QB.

i say trade up to get him. hell this years first and next and additional picks

I'm usually not a pessimist or lose-to-win fan, but Andrew Luck is the real deal and we must get him. Franchise LT, WR, good running combination, C (hopefully), and a defense who solely needs a wake-up call IMO are a great start. A fresh start with a new HC and possibly new OC/DC and this team is right back in the hunt, ala what the Falcons did a few years ago. It all starts with Luck.

Edit: BTW, firing Sparano mid-season would definitely be a great distraction to the team and would increase our chances of sucking. Lack of confidence in the coaching staff and gm does a great deal of damage to a team's psyche. Firing Sparano soon = better chance of landing Luck.

I'm with sinphin on this, we've basked in mediocrity long enough, whoever the gm is needs to grow some balls and trade up to get him, if it costs next years first and some extra picks fine, this cycle that we're in now has to be broken.

Give it up folks, unless we are ravaged by injuries, we're not going to be in position to pick #1. Nor will the team in the #1 position give up Luck for any reasonable price, unless it's the Panthers.

I can't see any teams that are bad enough to get the top pick that would be willing to trade Luck, except for maybe Carolina.

we should start nolan carroll every game. we could easily have the worst record.

JDAM !

There are going to be at least 3-5 teams with < 2-3 wins when Dec. starts. And they're all going to be in the race. IMHO there just could be > 2-3 teams with 0 wins by the end of the season. All of them sucking for Luck.

Yes the Phins are bad but they're not going to win that race. Nor is the team that get the #1 pick going to trade it for any price.
