trade rumor: Starks and 2012 draft pick to bengals for palmer. rumor...

a 3rd and starks for palmer...in a freakin heartbeat...hell i'd fly starks to cinci on my own dime

miami's biggest trade chip not named long or wake is not starks...its kendall langford...

nah I don't think so, Starks is more scheme versatile, is a bigger name, a better pass rusher and still has another year on his contract at a reasonable rate. He is also still young. Of course if Miami has no intentions on resigning Langford like reports have stated, then Langford and STarks are both very tradeable.

If Henne sticks it up in front of the home fans this week (50/50) I think they will be FORCED to make a move.

D line is very deep and I doubt we can keep them all anyways so Randy to somebody for a QB might happen.

Palmer ????? might do well with the recievers we have but if not him somebody. Book it.

Ross will force a move.

~~~ GOOOO FINS ~~~
langfords younger has more upside and entering his prime...4 year player can be signed to a 5 year deal and barring injury you will get your moneys worth out of the deal...you might get a 3rd for starks you can get a 2nd for langford right now
starks is more scheme versatile so it makes since more him to cinci than langford but langfords got more trade value league wide
This rumor has no plausibility. This is Madden video game speculation.
Next please.
Before I even begin considering the validity of this latest claim, I'd love to know what happened to the 2 big FA signings that we already had in place...
ok guys i am tired of beating around the bush. Write it down. My new trade rumor: randy starks and a high 2012 draft pick to the bengals for carson palmer. that is all for now.
there you are !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where the hell have you been you promised us palmer and then you disapeared .. Lmao
For an almost 32 years old qb? Plus this FO wouldnt draft a qb in the 1st round...
the hell i wouldn't still draft a qb in round 1...palmers not even in an nfl camp...if he came here and lit it up i wouldn't need to go qb in next years draft up top if it looked like he wasn't gonna get back to prior form i'd go get my qb with him here or not...and let the rook sit behind him for a year or so before turning over the reigns
this is a win win scenario...he plays great we have our qb for the next 3-5 years...he doesn't i'm using my resources to go get my future qb in the 2012 draft...for a 3rd rounder and starks i'm running starks to the airport...
Not that I think there is anything to this but do I detect a doubt about Henne flashing through your mind? Are you starting to cross over or am I just reading to much between the lines?
I have always had doubt about Henne. It is why I think we are a team somewhere between 8-10 wins. If they could have got Kyle Orton, I have said I think they are a 10+ win team. With Henne, they are an 8+ win team and LIKELY in the playoffs. This team is talented and I think we are a good QB away from being a potential elite team. Would I love to have Luck as our QB? Absolutely, but it is not happening with all the talent that is currently on this team. While I THINK Henne will be the starting QB this year, I wouldn't be opposed if they did give Moore a legtimate shot.
I think the Palmer trade is more of a long short at this moment than the Orton trade still happening. Not happening. However, if they did get Palmer, I think we could be looking at a deep run in the playoffs and possibly unseating New England at the top of the division.
Hell I thought everybody was under the assumption that this was a scenario of how to get Carson Palmer, just for the hell of talking about how to get Carson Palmer . . . not that the almighty "enduro" has blessed us with more of his fallacies in regards to the Miami Dolphins future wheelings and dealings.
Well atleast I know I ignored that part completely :up:
Im from Cincinnati.....Palmer is a poor mans Kyle Orton at this point in his career. No pocket awareness or mobility, too many dumb picks, not a good leader......wait am I describining Henne?
really?
our o-line still worries me
In addition, I will say it again. FO needs to suck up their pride and call Denver if Henne flops 1st half Friday. Offer a Dlinemen named Merling and a 3rd and see if they cut Orton lose. If not, you got to stick with Henne sink or swim and FINALLY take the QB of the future next year. Putting Moore in once again continues the stop gap QB bs.
