trade rumor: Starks and 2012 draft pick to bengals for palmer. rumor...

This poster has always had outrageous threads. The strange thing is, he has been right before. Lots of us here had to eat our words in the past when knocking his "ideas".

That's good to know. Hopefully this is one of those times he's right.

I don't understand how and why Ireland doesnt realize that he will fail with Henne at QB and instead of wishfully thinking we will suck bad enough for Luck, which we will not, offer even next year's 1st round pick along with Starks for Carlson Palmer. It isnt as if we are going to have anything other than a project and/or a FA Orton (who they dont consider that much better than Henne) in FA next year anyway. Next season we arent going to have any better options is my point. Throw the 2012 1st round pick with Starks and get it on 'this' year, sheesh, wtf, Ireland?

I won't be surprised if this happens, but Brown will do everything he can to make this happen right before the trade deadline. Which is not very helpful.

How about this rumor: 2012, 2013, and 2014 #1 draft picks for the #1 overall pick to grab Luck next year? Since we're playing Madden fantasy football.

Several days later, whether this has substance or is more manure served sunnyside up I'm still troubled by the concept of "high draft pick." Starks at his age is worth more than any tentative Aaron Maybins at 11, Brady Quinn's at 20 or Jafatazzes at #1. We need to keep our options open in the next QB Steeplechase, even if Palmer is onboard since he's already got a history of injuries and is no spring chicken. So proven Starks (the equivalent of a 2nd at the age of 26) and a 4th rounder is more than fair. Any pick higher than that, I implore you Ireland to walk the **** away!

I'm almost positive threads like these are just to make traffic for Finheaven. Waste of our time.

How's this trade coming along? Any chance we can change it to an O-lineman.
