trade rumor: Starks and 2012 draft pick to bengals for palmer. rumor...

I'd have too say if this doesn't happen soon I don't see much point in it happening at all. If that is Cincy's plan it's a stupid gamble. We are probably the most QB hungry team out there but if we are sucking it up by the dealine why would we trade for Palmer. They'd be best off just getting it done now, while we are supposedly very interested.

dont our offence schem suspose to be QB friendly ? imo plamer has seen alot of diffrent plays since he has been in the league so imo he could learn our playbook pretty fast i mean if it was a difficult system to learn then i would prob stick with henne but im pretty sure it wouldnt take no timefor him to learn it

Don't the Bengals have to pay palmer 10 million this year if he shows up before week 1? so whats to say he doesn't sign so they have to either trade him or cut about 10 million dollars worth of salaries to make room for his contract?

The Bengals will carry Palmer's cap space for the forseeable future. Yes, Mike Brown is that petty, and that cheap.

No trade for Palmer. We had our chance. They blew it. No it is too desperate. It would be something way too drastic. We just have to live with Henne right now and see what happens.

I can't imagine not going to work for a few months to make 10 million dollars.. the life of an athlete

I would like this trade obviously...two bright spots: 1) Carson Palmer 2) Jared Odrick. Odrick shined vs. Atlanta and is too much of an investment to be a rotational d-lineman. Langford, Odrick, Merling, McDaniel, and Baker are a good 5-man unit. For what it's worth, there's supposedly a rumor in Cinci regarding a Favre visit. It's not directly related to Carson Palmer, but maybe they want a vet before they somehow change their minds and trade Palmer.

I hope not. A high draft pick plus Starks for a qb that is well past his best, may only have 2 years left and apparently wants to be on the west coast, not the east. Where is the 'vision' in doing this?
