trade rumor: Starks and 2012 draft pick to bengals for palmer. rumor...

I never ceased to be amazed that Dolphins fans think Merling has value around the league. A poor player just coming off a major injury who beat his pregnant wife... why yes, there's certainly a shortage of those guys around the league. I'm sure people are just chomping at the bit to give up a third round pick for him!

looks like you are (chewey) lmmfao J/K

Even if this is total BS, which I think it is, it is still better than the hundred of sky is falling threads. Or worse, the "_____________ is better than Chad Henne" type thread. Today might have been the worst one when someone actually mentioned that Greg McElroy is better. Someone must have been sniffing paint.

Well I'm interpreting this thread as another "Henne sucks" thread. Thats pretty much the point of it right?

And who the hell is Enduro??

you guys see that back shoulder throw in the end zone from rodgers to greg jennings saturday night??? the cb had no chance...none...that throw was a freakin marvel

that kids rediculous

YEAH AND JUST THINK WHAT WE COULD HAVE RIGHT NOW. and be saying that about OUR TEAM

Adam Schefter said yesterday that Miami actually never made an offer for Orton. There was interest but no offer from Miami

so we spent that much time talkin turkey with elway and never got down to the nitty gritty...no wonder denver says its dead now...no offer ever made...i find that hard to believe...if i'm elway the first thing i want to hear on the phone is an initial compensation offer...and then we can negotiate...if its not in the ballpark at least initially no need to go further

Hell, I still don't think we ever brought in the kind of offensive coaching talent to get the best out of our QB's to be honest with you.

I still think Matt Ryan wouldn't be as heralded as he is now if he is drafted by us. Doesn't mean we should have necessarily passed, but I do think living under the assumption that we would be somehow this juggernaut under Matt Ryan is a bit premature.

guys want to talk about firing the coach and GM so casually. if we do that you're once again stuck in another 2-3 year loop (at minimum) while the new guy(s) start trading/drafting the players they want for their system. we are in perpetual building mode. at some point we just have to go with what we have. If Henne doesn't pan out this year, you trade him away for whatever 7th round pick you can get, trade for a FA qb to stop gap and please use our first pick on a QB. (rinse and repeat until we have a real franchise QB)

imo why in the hell you do think we havent been bk to the playoffs ? because of excuses like we will do this next year or we will do that next year if this dont work out always a day late and a dollar short.if the regime wants to win we have all the peices in place except QB now lets make a move even if it is a gamble and do what we need to do to get a QB that can play in the NFL in here .

matt ryans overrated around here...he's a franchise qb no doubt...but top 5 or in that window??? get the heck out of here

that said with ryan by now i would think we'd have assembled a roster that would contend for the long term...franchise qbs change outlooks in a hurry

I'm not as keen to offshore a Pro Bowl caliber DE as some people are around here... Plus, I don't see Palmer as a solid solution to our QB conundrum.

It doesn't matter who we have back there at QB this season if Colombo doesn't start playing like he has actually played RT before. He is getting eaten alive. He's going to get our QB killed, whoever it is. And...if big Jake isn't healthy by the opener or misses any games, we will be down to our 3rd QB in a hurry.
