i only found this by yahoo search "marty booker contract" and this was the number six.

Not really all that cheap for a number 2 maybe number 3 reciever. He will make 2.9 million this year. That is more than the rest of our recievers combined.......boston.gilmore.mann.thompson(who took a pay cut to stay),newson davis welker.

Only JT Zach and Madison make more. His contract is double that of Chambers. Do you really think he is worth our fourth biggest contract?

It's always possible especially with Boston really coming on. I don't think that Philly would mind adding what would be their number 1 receiver. That is if TO keeps up his antics.

Booker and Ricky for Philly's Number 2. There is about a 2.3% chance of that happening though.

Booker alone is worth the 2nd round pick. Plus if you throw in Ricky, that's no where near fair for us. If we hold Ricky, he has a good year, and next offseason some other team WILL be dumb and desperate and trade for Ricky FOR SURE. Booker may be able to happen right now..With Philly..But it's true he's overpaid.

Ricky doesn't want to be traded....so i think he'll do what it takes to keep him down here....The newspaper was talking about how dejected he looked when he asked if there was a possibilty of a trade and a reporter responded with "it would be the best case senerio for both sides" .... The dude wants to stay here and I think Saban will keep him if he continues with this work ethic....

Lets put all this trade rumors to rest..

I have a very unreliable source close to the team and he tells me:

a) Feeley will be cut.
b) Ricky is going to Tampa
c) Marty Booker is going to the Jets

in return, we'll get two top QB prospects Brian Griese from Tampa and Jay Feidler from NY..

if we are going to be in a "huge" trade i would look for ricky and.....booker to be moved. if im not mistaken marty is not thrilled to be here..he also has a four year 28 million dollar contract..AKA he's waaay overpayed..IMO

with ricky showing flashes of his old self and booker awaiting his chance to ship out, i think we could get a solid player in return..any thoughts

booker hasn't done anything here and ricky is a joke, if a team's starting back goes down ricks stock skyrockets!! so i think a relaible starting qb would be well worth is... something like

Do you have a link saying Booker isn't thrilled to be here? He wasn't thrilled with being traded last season. It had nothing to do with Miami, it was Chicago he was mad with. Stop underestimating Booker.

And his wife had just had a baby, and could not travel, so the man was in florida while his wife and newborn child were in Chicago.

I did not like Wanny, but the one good thing he did last year was let the guy go home for a few days to see his family!

Not bad, but I don't think the money would match up with the salary cap.
