I think everybody is thinking too shorttermed. Team management wise Saban has been very solid and very mothodical in his actions. I think he will only make a trade IF he gets ABOVE market value. So what is market value for these two guys? And a team like Philly has to go up a round because they should be picking in the bottom of each round(like the feeley trade our 2 was rated like a lesser teams 3) Anyway Booker is probably worth a 3 so Philly needs to pony up a 2, and ricky? there is no sense in trading him this year unless somebody gives up pre suspention value because if he makes it through this year his value incresses(and we can use him this year while next we won't need to)
Bottom line: This is not the old management crew. these guys(Saban/Mueller) will make sure they think before they act. no more Feeley for 2s and Gordan for3s(which was worse then the Feeley tade IMO)
Watch for a Morris to PITT deal. its a good fit and opens our backfield up
