Tua needs to consider retirement...

I'm a massive Tua fan and was excited we locked him up. Like many, this was the one thing that made me concerned about the contract. Unfortunately, we're witnessing the the effects of multiple concussions, and they're only going to come easier and easier. I hope he retires for his health and for the betterment of the franchise. It will be impossible to go into a season moving forward with him as our starting QB and just hope each game that he doesn't sustain even a minor hit to the head which takes him out for the rest of the season .

Ride this season out, sell the farm for a stud QB in the draft and take advantage of 1/2 more years of the aging talent we have on the team.

Being a fan of this team honestly feels like a job.

You can already tell what's going to happen. Tua will push to get on the field to collect his guaranteed cash, unless the fins somehow tell him to go away and offer a juicy settlement close to the $124M he would have received if he puts his brain on the line yet again.

I agree.

It's obvious that Tua can't be relied on long term. As much as I hate to type that and wish it wasn't so. The Fins need a long term answer at QB. They will have to come up with an injury settlement/retirement with Tua, maybe he will become a coach with us in some capacity but his playing days need to be over. This team is not winning a SB with Tom Brady at QB so might as well go with Skyler the rest of the season and draft a QB or two and OL pieces and semi rebuild the team where it is deficient. So sad to have to endure another wasted season but that is the life of a Miami Dolphins fan post 1984..........

I love Tua. I think he has great potential.

but why in the world did he lower his head into that guy? Split second bad decision.

And do we really think he'll magically not do the same thing given another opportunity? He's not built for this sport.

Y'all really think he's retiring and giving up the money he just signed for?

Be f*cking for real.
He got $43M this year and has another $123M fully guaranteed if he has to walk away. I think he might consider not fighting a medical retirement as he is set to collect $166M. Just my opinion.
