It sounds like it did considering the sentence after you talk about if Tua had enough time.
No, the original post to which I responded was about the Oline, and that it somehow wasn't necessary to have a good one, ostensibly because Tua gets the ball out quickly.

I disagree. A bad Oline is a problem under any circumstances, for any QB.

How is that building it FOR Tua?

He can do it yes, but do you think Tua says "Give me less time to throw the ball" ?

If you have a QB that you are concerned about getting injured, do you spend less money on the oline?

Just because he CAN do something doesnt mean that he should always do it. And it CERTAINLY is not build for his benefit.

Ding ding ding. 100% correct.

Tua is the reason this staff believes they don't need a line that can pass block. It wasn't built for him.

I'll add this: If the Fins went out and spent 40 million on the oline and drafted interior oline guys, I'd lean more towards management on the contract issue.

Instead they gave him a big middle finger and said deal with it.

Im really disappointment in our organization right now.

Thank God. I thought I was taking crazy pills or being punked lol.

Couldn't agree more with your post.

Find a stop gap veteran that's undervalued, which McD sees the potential to work with until they draft their guy. There will be options available... may not be as successful as Tua initially but I'm trusting the timeline will unfold for the team's highest. No fear of the unknown without Tua... fans may be pleasantly surprised with how this unfolds
You forgot what team you root for.

It took over 20 years to find Tua. There is a chance we take another 20 to find the next decent QB.

If we were gonna dump Tua, we should have done more to prepair the next QB search.

We won't have a high draft pick next year.

And a "stop-gap" veteran is worse than blowing the whole thing up and starting over.

He's not going anywhere

If Tua holds out, he can go f himself + this season will be toast.

Sure, but the scheme the Dolphins run make a o-line matter very little.

See my post #1293.......... I guess you forgot what I said.
It doesn't change the facts on the ground that it is scheme and the o-line matters less with this type of scheme.

You called MARINO1384's characterization "illogical." Nothing llogical about it. That's the scheme.

The scheme will not win suberbowls.

You want to run the ball? Fix the oline.

You want a QB to reach his third read? Fix the Oline.

If you want to keep blaming the rest of the offense? Keep **** as it is.

Why build a scheme that only 1 QB can run?

Every year it is the same story. Grier never learns.

If that's the case and McD can't/won't adjust his approach, might as well just blow it up because it ain't gonna work.

I disagree with your premise, though, as I believe McD is smart enough, and innovative enough to adjust what doesn't work.

Let me ask you this. Do you believe the "scheme" as you purport it to be is a Championship winning one?
