Trust... it's all unfolding.. the karmic balance is restored and the Miami dolphins will continue to thrive. Thankfully never again will we have to endure two decades of subpar qb play!
What the hell kind of response is this? You are in over your head and are very wrong about this subject. Just admit it and move on, instead of spewing nonsense.

That’s great an all but that’s not what our system requires. It requires a quick release which he doesn’t have, timing/anticipation and accuracy. Accuracy is the only thing he possesses of those traits.

Dak is no better than current form Tua only he’s 4 years older and I’m not sure we’ve seen Tua’s best form either as he’s improved every year and with the weight loss we might see added mobility and extending plays which is something we were lacking but he still performs the basics of our offense at a much higher level then Dak. Not to mention Dak will 100% cost more than Tua.
I don’t believe the Cowboys will re-sign Dak at a ridiculous salary. My issue is really with the system. 2.5 seconds takes away most 2nd options. In the red zone, especially, there needs to be some options. Even guys like Goff get more than 2.5 seconds. It’s an offense designed for a poor OLine. The Greatest Show on turf had a 2 year run….the Wildcat had a one year run. Gimmick offenses depend on players remaining healthy, and the ability to adjust. McD hasn’t learned that as yet. A QB should have options.. and the time to maneuver to make that happen.

great point. Many dismiss a great performance against "bad teams" yet point to a middling performance against a great team as to why a team or player "sucks" and "can't win"
There does come a point, though, such as a 1-13 record over 2 years where it becomes a valid topic of discussion.

It's not like it's a "win some, lose some" situation. Sure there are several contributing factors, but the basic reality is we haven't done well against top quality teams.

I think it can work however I’d like to see mcD simplify the offense a little. The issue is we focus too much on throwing 20 yards down field. We rarely use check downs meanwhile guys like Brady and Mahomes are going down as best ever while terrorizing defenses with 3-7 yard plays. I’m praying we can get Jonnu and Odell along with the wideouts underneath. McDaniel falls in love with the big chunk plays sometimes.

We really haven’t seen fully if the scheme can work in crunch time. The oline we brought in to hold up 2.5 seconds got hurt and we ended up with olines with 2-4 backups in dec and January and it turned to 2.2 seconds. Then the playmakers we were using to cover up the line that was supposed to be 2.5 seconds which turn turned into 2.2 ended up all getting hurt towards the end of the season lol

I have more issues with the screen passes behind the LoS than the deeper passes.

Those busted screens turn into drive killers.

But I agree, he needs to utilize more of the field and take advantage of some dump offs/short slants/etc beyond the LoS.

Yeah it was either behind or 20 yards down field we ran almost nothing in between. Want to see more 3-7 yard passes. Easy completions but positive yards.

I believe the 'Tua top of the League' stats are misleading because of the pass oriented personel and strategy utilized by the Dolphins the past two seasons. For example some opponents were willing to give up yardage until the 20 yard line, at which point the defense may more easily protect against TD's, which resulted in lots of essentially meaningless passing and receiving stats for the Dolphins.
The Dolphins were 3rd best in red zone TD percentage.

I think the offense adjusted to a line that couldn’t pass block effectively. I don’t think it is designed for single read, get the ball out immediately.

Exactly.

Oh dear, vibrational difference is all this is. Based on your response, I feel the futility of providing a genuine more detailed explanation from here. Believe what you'd like and I'll digress. Peace be with you

13 AND 17 record( career)....Who can tell me what QB and what team its against?...hint..The QB is in the Hall Of Fame...

1 and 3 in the playoffs against the same team..

Well Marino vs the Bills was my first thought. But I’m sure he played them more than 30 times. So I’ll go with Manning vs the Pats.
