If they are freeing up cap space, they better be gearing up for another run at Orton.
 
I am so tired of these guys constantly changing the line if Carey was cut.

I thought Murtha looked good in the seasons final game, and figured he'd be a the #1 Swing tackle in 2011 .. with Garner competing for the OG spots ...
 
How convenient is it that they won't practice again until Wednesday? We will likely spend all of tomorrow in the dark about Vernon.

That wasn't a slight against you, hooshoops. It was a generalized statement about him being on the list. Many people brought it up. I apologize that I don't have a desire to work for the Department of Redundancy Department.
 
miami is gonna get out of vernons contract if not this camp sometime before the end of next years camp...he's just making too much money and getting long in the tooth...if he refuses a pay cut he's gone

but who knows maybe he ate some bad mexican and needs a night off...doubt it though

i was just messin...but i haven't seen much talk about it except for "we can't cut carey...careys a staple...yada yada yada"

Would be a mistake to release big Vern. Yeah he had a hard time with his knees but is still not half bad. I can see them ascking him to restructure. No other team in the NFL would touch a trade with him on that contract at all.

Murtha was on IR the final game of the season.
