Wanny told assistants Feeley is a loose cannon and a bad influence.

Your gonna have to try harder than that, kid. I live here I know the deal..

Prove it to me that Bledsh!t was the reason why the Pats got their new stadium.
Did I say he was the sole reason?

He was the MAIN reason. NE doesn't have the fan-support it has for years without Bledsoe. Bledsoe was their franchise QB and was LOVED in NE.

And all the people getting hard-ons on here for that CAL kid wouldn't help make my statement?

You're right, they'll probably do something even worse, maybe they'll trade it for another 3rd stringer with a conditional pick.

Don't worry people, this cat will go away when the Rumors come true, and Billy signs Wanny next year, as Offensive Coordinator.....

Now don't go saying how Billy would never be so dumb, because in your teams history, they've done plenty to refute that.

The Patsies don't have the same fan support ???? What planet are you from ??
NE has won 2 s-b championships in the last 3 years ... Queeny in his ONLY appearance LOST a s-b.. How could there be "LESS" fan support ???
:goof:

He was in 2 1/2 game and benched for Fiedler. That could be a coaching mistake, but the fact that he got benched when he is supposed to be the future at QB tells you something about his abilities.

Big Ben didn't make as much mistakes as Feeley did, games in poor conditions there shouldn't be many mistakes because you should be conservative.

AJ never won games in Philly, he simply didn't lose them. Same thing Fiedler did with you guys. AJ never did anything as a starter in Philly that made him great. He was still a 3rd-string QB there, and the games he played he had alot of ST help and a great defense in Philly that year. He did nothing to warrant a 2nd round pick, and being touted by many fans as the "next Marino"

You can keep trying to expand the discussion to what other fans say about Feeley being the next anything, but I don't give a crap about that, and it doesn't address why you think Feeley is "nothing special."

You say he didn't win games for Philly, hust didn't lose them - same as Fiedler diod for us. But we know that Feeley has a better arm than JF, and therefore by that standard DOES give his team more chances to win by making more of the playbook available to the OC, and by making throws better and with more accuracy than JF ever dreamed.

And you're not getting the thing about the "hurricane" game: Roethlisberger has greater physical tools than Feeley - no one is arguing that. One is a high 1st-rounder, one is not. To say Roethlisberger outperformed Feeley in that game is irrelevant to the argument.

So, no - BR didn't make "as much mistakes" as Feeley did in that game. That doesn't prove your point.

Try again?

Um hate to burst your bubble but when a team sucks the fans dont go. It's that simple!

Billy has like 13 straight home sell outs, that does not even compare to Miami, much less a team like NE. They do support their team, thats for sure.

No response?

Next time - intellectually speaking - don't bring a switchblade to a gunfight, TROLL.

I'm not sold on AJ either... are you guys going to attack me next? I think it was a mistake by Rick to trade for AJ in the first place... but like goes on I suppose.

Pornstache has sour grapes. Good riddance Wanny.

Read the thread carefully.

You have an opinion of feeley - you're entitled! Have at it, voice it, start a thread, whatever. This forum is made up of primarily three things - opinions, predictions and documented (or at least linked) fact. It's cool any way you go.

I just have a problem with someone stating opinion as fact; or saying something "will definitely happen, take it to the bank, blahblahblah..." without backing up why they think that way.

It's lazy, disingenuous and doesn't serve any type of discussion - and discussion is the most valuable of the things the forum exists for.

In my opinion, of course. ;)

Interesting; Feeley disliked the same offensive system that Cris Carter has called "awful" on "inside the NFL."

I like this kid better all the time.

Coincidence? I think not.
At least we can finally start over.
What a waste of a team with a really good foundation the last 4 years were!

So sad, I remember when fans were trying to compare Bledsoe with Marino. Ah, those lofty dreams of yester-year. Now all he can cling to is his ability to not throwing more pics for tds than a inexpierenced new comer. The only thing worse than a has been is a never was.

I guess this proves Wannstedt doesn't know how to react to a quarterback if it's not his lover Jay Fiedler.

Can't handle the criticism from someone who practiced with Donovan and a near championship team...which is a lot farther than we've gotten in a while.

I'm not going to say that I think Feeley is going to be good. You have a problem with people saying that he sucks without having reason to say that, I have a problem with people claiming he is the future and have no reason to say that. The day Feeley cam in the game against Arizona about every thread you seen started was Feeley is the future, this kid can play, and blah blah blah. Well he had one ok half, they fail to remember all the balls batted down at the line, I dont think I've seen Jay get that many batted down this year so you cant blame that on the line.

I have already judged Feeley by his games, and I can see that I am somewhat wrong by doing that because he hasnt got the best chances, but at the same time I see more pointing towards he's not going to be good than I do that he is going to be good. So, I'm not sold on Feeley but these next games I'm going to wait until I say that he sucks again.
