Look there are fans and then there are lunatics… This will be my 50th season cheering for the Dolphins And I’m looking forward to as many more as possible! When I go into the off-season I’ll be depressed because the games aren’t on… Not because of how our team performed. I love football and most importantly the Dolphins And yesterday was a tough loss to swallow but we played very well! The arrow is pointed up, go Dolphins!

Not any longer. The loss last night sucked but I slept like a baby last night. It's glorious once you don't let this team dictate your happiness.

Great now the next thing for you to work on is you trying not to dictate our happiness! That’ll be step two in your recovery

Thanks. I don’t watch enough of him to have an opinion that matters. 2 of my buddies that are dolphins fans are split. One thinks he’s a product of the talent around him and is scared the talent will plummet if they pay him that much. The other thinks he’s the second coming of Marino (not so much, but he thinks he’s a top 7 qb).

Anyone else have thoughts on Tua’s next contract? everyone agrees he’s worth 45m’ish per year?

Listen, he does need talent around him especially a line
I didn’t need him to throw four TDs in cold weather but he played great last night and checked that box
He can’t make the throws that Allen came make, that much is clear but he is a leader who gets pumped up when he takes that field
He gives it his all and leaves it all out on the field
 
This is likely the list in the next three years.

1.Mahomes ( Andy Reid plus his natural Talents)
2. Allen ( Great Arm and Good running QB but injuries may start to mount soon and their offense is spotty)
3. Tua ( Elite WRs and a good fit with his coach) Tua is probably the best spot of all the Qbs to succeed over multiple years
4.Herbert ( Good WRs but they are getting on the older end of their career) Great arm and size but throws too many game-changing interceptions
5.Burrow ( Decent but is a statue as his Oline is killing him. Too many sacks.

Tua could bump to 2 if Allen falters

So does Taylor Heineke. It’s a tough spot with the way the nfl contracts work. Guys who are barely top 10 QBs getting top 2-3 money really screws things up imo. Russell Wilson and Kylers contracts changed things. Both teams are in serious trouble for the next 5 years imo.

I hope he works out. I missed having division rivalries that matter. I’m glad we have one again.

He has one exceptional guy to throw to and a bunch of jags + a below average to poor OL + a first time rookie play caller OC + average at best RBs. Cook might good with time, but his mental errors come at inopportune times.

Davis is just ok. McKenzie is unreliable but serviceable. Knox is pretty good, but not special by any means. Back to back drops on Saturday is an example of that.
 
Miami is a scary team, we make it to the playoffs , no one is looking forward to playing us. If the defense gets Jones bk for the run our defense will be big time better. My instincts tell me we win the next 3 , enter the playoffs super hot all the way to Super Bowl vs eagles and win it all.
 
This was a one play game.

Change one single play late in the game, and we win... on the road, and in the cold... against the supposed best team in the AFC... with a QB who supposedly cant win in the cold.

...and people cry.

I'll NEVER understand...
