Just guessing, but maybe the restructure made him easier to deal.

That was the only way to trade him, & we got a solid to good WR in Kenny Stills.

Good trade still.
 
Yup, I was going to say, probably untradeable before restructure. We did well on that one.
 
We aren't going to max out our cap anymore this year so this is irrelevant.
Next year is the key and he is off our books.
This is a win.

yeah but we just let the 12 million dollar man go to free up 7 mil. well, its not official. but its official.
