Yes, it is, all the players hes picked. Like the 2008 draft, 2009 draft, 2010 draft, 2011 draft, and all his free agents, such as Justin Smiley, Jake Grove, Gibril Wilson, David Garrard, Chad Ochocinco, and trades like Brandon Marshall.
So your saying there is no one available that could do as good a job, if not better, then Jeff Ireland?
I'll play your game though, how about:
Scot McCoughlan- the former general manager for the 49’ers. He was let go by the 49’ers for “personal reasons” but has been in the running for other general manager jobs since. He is currently working in Seattle’s front office(which has done exceptionally well recently). With the exception of 2 offensive lineman and Aldon Smith, McCoughlan built the majority of the 49’ers team that is enjoying so much recent success.
Also intrigued by Russ Ball of the Packers, though im less hot on him recently.
Now, you have 2 guys im interested in. But guess what, it doesnt matter if those guys bust or do well. If im wrong, people write nasty things on an internet forum. But if Ireland is wrong in his profession, this franchise suffers. Yet your defending Ireland. Fantastic priorities.
No it's not a game for me. Just prior to becoming a serious dolphins fan the front office that really built the Dolphins into a Super Bowl winner in the 70 s left town and joined the skins who became Super Bowl winners. So yes to win it all you need a superior GM along with a supior head coach. What I am less patient about is just changing for changing sake. Dolphin fans ran Shula out of town because they'd wanted better results and basically it has been much worse since. So if your just wanting to ouster Ireland then I believe need to put out there who his replacement will be along with GM's body of work to compare to Irelands. By the way did you like any then picks in this years draft and last years draft?
