Wells informed the NFL that he expects his report to be completed either late next week or early the following. So it'll be a while still.

Here's the money quote: "Mr. Wells continues to be in full control of the timing of the report." Boom.

Obviously Martin's camp doesn't like the new narrative (otherwise known as the truth that Martin is a little bitch being confirmed), so they told Wells to make some magic.

Wells could well be under the same "peer pressure" as was Dungy as to looking like a turncoat if attacking someone who was allegedly the victim of disgusting racism. If that's the case, now that Richie's legal team by inserting a dose of reality well positioned between Martin's one-sided soft ball Dungy interview scheduled for maximum attention and what was the original release date, perhaps Wells thought he might have to step back and measure which is worse for his reputation: pandering to a red meat drooling visceral media by getting it wrong, or being more inclusive in his "fact finding,' getting it right and letting some of the chips fall where they may. :idk:

Whatever is in that report is some other teams' problem now, and good riddance. I really couldn't care less about when it's released.

Sounds like he is looking to find something that does not exist.
