Wells report delayed until late next week or early the following week

He wants to keep his name relevant for at least another week or so. There is no excuse for the report to be delayed. The investigation was wrapped up weeks ago. Tell him to take his report and shove it you know where.

Waiting on further instructions from Czar Roger on things they can screw Miami on. Kraft needs to be consulted first but he's too busy boning d-list actresses and guilting everyone into feeling bad his wife died

Actually, she is the Executive Vice President of Football Administration for the Dolphins.

I am well aware what the title is. However, the BS that she does not have much power and is simply a numbers pusher is garbage. Pure garbage. She has a ton of power.

He sure started a new life quick after losing his wife of 48 years. It took less than 9 months.

Especially after he kept forcing the media to cover and re-cover the fact his wife died. I'm sure she was a nice woman and I felt bad for him until that piece of garbage appeared in his girlfriend's bikini clad audition tape when we were all supposed to be feeling sorry for him

If the Dolphins release someone it becomes a cap issue therefore Aponte has certain powers. But that is only news to you. You must hate when women work in a man's world. She does the same job as Bryan Wiedmeyer and Matt Thomas before her. As a matter of fact she switch teams with Thomas. Aponte came to us to take over Thomas position and Thomas went to Cleveland to take her position. Wiedmeyer also went to the Browns. Thomas is now somewhere else though.

Wiedmeyer and Thomas were OK but Aponte is not?

He is and always was a piece of crap. For someone to recover so quickly from the death of your wife for almost 5 decades is low. I tend to think he was married so his wife wouldn't take him to the 'financial' cleaner and that little z-wannabe-actress was already in the picture.

Releasing the texts as he did was hardly the move of a team player. He outed Will Yeatman and Brenner as pot users and Mike Pouncey as a pot user at minimum and possibly as a user of other drugs. Not to mention implying teammates used hookers on a regular basis (I'm not going through it again to see who was named to that specifically or implicitly).

The picture the texts paint of the team is worse than the one Martin's claims painted as a team, imo. And it's probably more accurate, too.

Those texts could have done a lot more damage had they been released during the season. I can't begrudge a man for trying to defend himself and his name at this point.

That's because you're not one of the people he outed. If I was Will Yeatman, Sam Brenner or Mike Pouncey, I'd be pretty pissed at him right now.

I think you're missing the point. The season's over and Incognito is effectively a free agent so of course he's going to put his career above the feelings of past teammates.

Actually IMO, if I were them, I'd be a helluva lot more pissed at Martin for this unmanly charade which crowbarred Incog deep into the corner and shone a negative spotlight on the team.. and then if that wasn't enough, even more so at Martin for not letting it lie by scheduling a high profile, SB week softball profile with the non-confrontational, gullible Tony Dungy in an attempt to nail the door to that corner shut. Incog cast a wider negative spotlight on himself more so than his teammates and had no choice but to react to Martin and his handlers' contrived shenanigans. No one can be that naive as to expect someone who's gratuitously scapegoated and demonized as a pariah to bite the bullet and go down gently without striking back as best he can. :idk:
Personally if I were thrown under the bus unfairly as a racist and bully by someone I supported as a friend, no possible payback options would be off the table.

Sill makes him out to be a ****ty, self serving "pal", and isn't going to endear him to future teammates. There was no reason to call these guys out by name.
