what about McQuarters at CB?

We shouldn't wait for McQuarters to be let go. Who wants to get into a bidding war? Trading a seventh round pick for McQuarters is a worthwhile investment. Afterall, don't we have two seventh round picks in next year's draft? ;)

You're George Bush aren't you??

McQuarters has a big contract after the Bears playoff year a couple of seasons ago. He is probably unwilling to take less money and it is probably the reason Chicago is looking to ship him. I think that he is as good or a little better than Reggie Howard, but having two nickel cailiber CB with 3m + a year deals is bad for Miami.

Since when were we looking to dump Howard? First I've heard of this...especially since it makes no sense financially to do so...

There was an article or part of a local article several weeks ago that stated that the Fins were pushing Howard to take a pay cut. Not that we were looking to dump him. Even before Poole's injury, I doubt that the interest was in getting rid of him, just lowering his cap hit.

Personally, I would love to have R.W. HE has alot of talent and is a solid corner.

Bears fans either love him or hate him, but they feel the same way about Jerry Azumah.

If he was brought in, he could also play FS (I think that's what Da Bears were planning on him doing this year) and I know he's better than what we have now.

Bears Left-overs?

Why do we continually insist on wanting/picking up chicago's garbage I thought that was a Wanny trend and I actually exspected it to end with his departure.

well gonick1 i agree with you on not bringing in anymore bears players the exceptions would r.w. mcquarters. and booker. and if it makes you feel any better the image of dave will eventually fade away , it just may take a little longer than most poeple want for the effects to weare off.:cooldude:
