Williams from VTech should be great. I'm sure I'll catch some Texas games this year so I'll pay attention to Wright. i think we'll still need a DT next year

Why not? I personally thought Rodgers may have been a better prospect than Leinhart, but hes getting all the pub because of an amazingly stacked team that surrounds him. Ken Dorsey was an awesome college QB for a championship team, and where is he now? I don't put much stock in how good the players team is, but I have seen Jacobs play almost every start he has made and USC quite a few times as well, and I would rather have Omar. His throwing motion is very short and akward, it looks like he is throwing a dart, but I've never seen him have a ball batted down at the line and his accuracy is awesome, 4 INT's all year in a spead offense supports that. How is Vince Young compared to Jacobs in any respect? Jacobs threw for 4000 yards and 67% cmp. rate. Young didn't even come close to 2000 yards and threw 6 more INT's in nearly half the attempts. I know they are different styles of offenses, but Young has twice the talent around him. Young isn't in Jacobs leauge as a passer.[/QUOTE

Why not, Young has a big arm, is huge, and can run, but is not a finished product, i'm not saying he'll end up being better than Jacobs but he has more potential IMO. Like Jacobs his throwing motion is flawed also. Watching the Rose Bowl with Braylon Edwards/Cedric Benson/Marlin Jackson/Derrick Johnson, who were all 1st rd picks, the best player on the field by far was Vince Young. Leinart does play on a team that may end up as one of the great dynasties in college football, but he lost his top 3 wideouts before last season and was still the unquestioned leader of the best team in college football. It seems kinda strange to me that you're gonna take credit away from a guy because he plays great on a great team. I think Jacobs can turn out to be a good Qb, but he's a huge project IMO, and his throwing motion leads me to believe that when he plays in the NFL the defenses are just gonna pick him apart.

If you want an OT, Marcus McNeill will be hard to beat. 6'9" 337 pounds...ran a 4.9 40 yard dash during winter workouts this past year. Easily the fastest OL or DT on the Auburn team. Very long arms and pickups outside blitzes from CBs and LBs with ease(Check the UGA game last year where he beats Thomas Davis to the outside, or the Bama game where he pushes the DE inside and still manages to push the CB past the QB). There's a reason why he's rated a top 3 prospect for next year by nearly every service.

Jacobs throwing motion is not flawed, it is just a unique delievery. The ball comes out lighting quick, with force, and where he wants it. Many quality QB's have had odd throwing motions and made them work, Marino and Kosar are notables.

Vince Young did look good vs. Michigan, it really showcased his ability to make plays with his feet, but is is common knowledge Michigan has a hard time stopping mobile QB's. Even Troy Smith looked great vs them in the OSU Michigan game. He could be good, but he is 10x the project Jacobs is. The key to being a good pro quaterback is being able to throw the ball, Young hasn't shown he can consistently do that.

I don't mean to say leinhart is a bad QB at all. I know he is good. The thing with USC is, I don't see the big plays coming from him, they come from the players around him making things happen. He will likely be the 1st overall pick anyway, so he is not worth talking about, considering we should be at worst better than last year. There are guys that will more than likely be avaliable to us and can be franchise players here, and Jacobs is one of those guys.

4.9. Man that's scary

Chad Jackson(sleeper) gamebreaking WR
Chris Leak (even though he won't be coming out this year)

the guy to watch even though he's not coming out is Adrain Peterson he was good enough to win the Heisman in only his freshman year which is the only reason why he didn't win it

Most people are predicting a down year for OU and Peterson. They lost a lot of their offense around him, which was one of the reasons he was so good.

then we will see just how good he is

Just hawkeye players u should know about

QB:Drew Tate:Junior Great Composure. Offensive leader for the hawkeyes. Makes smart throws in and out of the pocket. Knows when to tuck it in and run(very tough). A little problem with dehydration last year knocked him out for a game or two. Bye far the best qb in Big 10.

WR:
