Who Are the 50 Best Miami Dolphins Players of All Time?

Suh? Seriously? No.

And I'd put Csonka ahead of Marino for two simple reasons: two Super Bowl rings.
Team vs player. Marino in his prime rewrote record books and was light years ahead of his contemporaries. 48 TDs in ‘84 when the next highest was 30. 44 TDs in ‘86 when the next highest was 26.

Zonk was awesome but he was never considered the best RB in the game. One of them, yes but tops? No.

That said, I’d trade any team we’ve had since to have another Zonk and the physicality of the team that he personified. His DNA was the team’s DNA - and that type of ball wins in any era.

But I get why they have the list the way they do.

I was happy to see a guy who was quietly great (pro bowls and all) in Ed Newman ranked as high as he was. He was a fantastic guard w great mobility and helped anchor that early 80’s line w Keuch and Stephenson.

Another guy I thought was fantastic but a bit underrated was Vern Den Herder. Very deserving name on that list.

Reggie Roby so high? He was the first punter I ever recall seeing who looked like he should be playing LB. He could blast kicks into the stratosphere. So many times punting from his goal line, the other team would start at their 35. That was pretty rare in those days.

If Tua is not on this list, the list is shizz.

The best QB since Marino. Sorry Bob Griese. The record book is still open. If Tua isn’t on the list, the list is shizz.
Tua is on the list and Bob Griese was a 1,000,000x better than Tua, sorry fin007. Griese was one of the best QBs in history. A HOFer. An NFL passing champion in ‘77. Three SB runs. Cmon man.

Randy Starks and Reshad Jones not being on the list is criminal. Can also make a strong case for Jake Long considering his elite play for four years.
2 of my all time favorites. And Long was a beast until knees.
