Who do you want us to draft in the 1st round?

There are some good LBs in this class but I don't see any 4-3 MLBs that I would take high. Shayne Skov is nice but I think he's more an ILB in a 3-4...I don't see the speed to run from sideline-to-sideline there. I really like Kyle Von Noy but he'll probably be gone by our 2nd round pick.
There seems to be a lot more 3-4 LBs in this draft than 4-3. Guys like Anthony Barr, Khalil Mack, Jeremiah Attaochu, Michael Sam and Shayne Skov I see as more 3-4 guys.

I'd look at Greg Robinson out of Auburn. Good run blocker and nice athleticism to project as a pass blocker. With the two game meltdown, Miami may be in range to get him. Cameron Irving is another guy who looks interesting. Cyril Richardson may be nice if Miami signs a LT in free agency like the Collins kid from the Bengals.
Beyond that, Kyle Van Noy or Ryan Shazier are good linebackers. Van Noy has that Jack Ham feel to him.
Jace Amaro would be a fun pick but I don't see it happening.

I would take Van Noy at 19. Downhill playmaker but can cover. Big fan of his at the moment.
Yeah he's a guy that looks like he has really good instincts and he's better than most people think in coverage. He has 7 career INTs at BYU. He's at the top of my wish list for the 2nd round...if we take a 1st round OT.

19 would be the perfect spot for Melvin Gordon. But the kid's going back to Wisc. Damnit. Need a guy like him really badly, imo. And I'm not crazy about the other RBs at this point.

Ebron for me. Dual threat kind of guy that isn't a reach at 19. It'll depend on how the draft falls and who Miami signs in free agency, of course.
There will be plenty of RBs available after the 1st round. I'm not sure one gets taken in the 1st round this year actually.

If you're looking at RB there's no need to look in the first, or this year even. If you wait you can get someone like Gordon, Yeldon, or Gurley next year. Personally I'm a fan of Ka'Deem Carey if we do take a back this year, and he's a 2nd rd tops.

i'd argue that Ebron is not a luxury we can afford right now.
We need offense of lineman, but everybody knows you don't draft them in the first round (sarcasm)

i like him...somewhat undersized imo but thats ok in a 43 anyways...wolb or mike might project best as a wolb...but very instinctual...i'd be lying though if i didnt have some bama translation concerns given the way they have faired in the pros of late as high picks...but not much...he'd be the most instinctual lb on the team from the jump...definitely someone i'd have on my pick #19 list...but with wheelers contract will they do it??? i doubt it...him and ellerbe are here for at least another year...probably 2 more with ellerbe
i like him in coverage and i like his key reads and dx of the inside run game and screen game...will need to be clean as he doesnt sift thru trash great but he will be filling when he is suppose to and not late i'm confident of that
