Who starts at quarterback for the Jets this week?

It almost doesn’t matter. They are capable of winning on D w Dalvin Cook at QB. Their offense is disgusting.

However the game is no gimme. I hope McD doesn’t try to force things. Take points EVERY time you have a chance. I don’t care if it’s 4th and 2 on their 13. Kick the FG. Forcing things is how you get beat by that team. If you simply take what you can when you can you will score more than them. Because their QBs are terrible.

I keep hoping it will be Zach Wilson...

LOL

I do not get it with that kid...

He was a stud in college..
He has looked great in the preseason for a couple of years.

But he has played terribly and he looks like absolute trash.

Great for us.... But I cannot even imagine the frustration of being a Jets fan.... hahahahaha
I just think he has no pocket presence or awareness. That seems to be his biggest weakness.

Also, he panics and makes bad decisions.

I'm not sure if he's salvageable. Does have athletic ability and a strong arm.

IMO it's a huge jump from BYU, where he rarely saw NFL talent.

Yep, I believe it was 52-17 and it was one of only two good games Wilson has had. He probably gets the start based on that. Boyle I don't know from Adam. Simian is competent and could pose a slight problem. Nonetheless, their offensive line is bad, and other than Wilson, their receivers are mediocre. Hall could be a problem as well, but I am encouraged by our interior d line.
Due to their talent and aggressiveness on D, I still expect a tough, close game. We should win, but it will be difficult. Their d really gets up the field. They will cause a couple of turnovers and won't fall for McD's misdirection bag of tricks.
In terms of Hall, he’s been doing nothing lately. Started the year well but in his last 5 games has had 63 carries for 157 yards (2.5 ypc).

Wilson and that offense are so bad. Their defense on the other hand is very good and has kept them in games. I think we need to not try and be too cute and take what we can. No 4th and 1,2,3 go for it and leave points on the field.

I really hope we smash them so bad.

How much of it is the QB and how much of it is his coaching?

It won't matter, the Oline might be the worst in football, that's also the reason Breece Hall has done nothing this year, he's a really good RB.

There is a YouTube channel called The New York Jokes, just a bunch of guys sitting around and watching the Jets, it's pretty hilarious and I watch it every week. They understand their line is trash and also have been taking shots at their defense lately, saying it's way overrated

Im more worried about our offense moving the ball and fumbles and picks. That is the only way the Jets can win. If we hand it to them

As long as their passing game struggles vs MIami in both games, I'm ok with whomever they play at qb. I wish they owned their 1st round draft pick in 2024 so they would start tanking games to improve their chances of getting a higher pick.
They have their 1st. The condition on that pick being a 1st or 2nd was Rodgers’ playing time. Four plays was under the amount needed to push it to a first.

Talent and the culture shock of NYC took its toll.

So does Z Wilson not practice against the vaunted Jets D and yet he regresses, regardless of his patchwork Oline he has very little going on football acumen wise
