Whoa! Dolphins employees post on this site!

I wonder if Jeff Ireland uses MS Paint to make his forum signature piicture and avatar.
 
As of a few years ago they had seven people who worked online........... odds are it's more now.

That way, only more or less balanced posts can truly be considered as legitimate fan posts.

Don't follow the logic. The Jets don't need to add to the negativity with Ireland here it's all organic

Not too many alternatives to consider are there?
The rabid dog attacks on anyone questioning Ireland by the cadre of pro Ireland posters takes on quite a different perspective now doesn't it and really puts into question the integrity of this site ...sadly

Glad to see you have such an open-minded view of your fellow Dolphins fans. So much so that you're willing to call them idiots for saying Ireland's done ANYTHING positive in his tenure here! I guess I could attack my fellow Finfans who have anything bad to say about the team, but I'll willing to take the high road here and enjoy my time on Finheaven! I was here on FinHeaven for several years and posted fairly regularly under a similar name to what I have now.

Let's see, at that time there was a lot of negativity about losing Ricky Williams for the season from suspension. Almost no one talked about drafting QBs in the first round, lol. I believe that the last year I was here was right after we went 1-15 under Cam. Maybe I was here the first year under Sporano. Or maybe it was the year that Ireland was hired along with Parcels and everyone here told me how great Ireland would be over speelman, etc. LOL, speelman was the anti-christ along with Pornstash. You guys might want to consider that it was that combo who last actually built us a team that could get to the playoffs (and can't count Sporano/Ireland because that was their first year). At that time I left the forum because I was sick and tired of all the negativity, amateur GM wannabe posts and general total lack of support for supposedly the forum's beloved team.

I can tell you its even worse now than it ever was then (feels like twice as bad). But this time, I'm gonna stick it out and do my best to present the truth here and set an example in trying to apply logic and reasonable/creditable sources to back up any opinion I express. Right now, I'm really only observing the fins and their moves this off season and preseason because I don't think anyone's really in a position to judge yet. You can run around shouting 'the sky is falling!', but until we actually play some games, there's really nothing to judge our team by . . . its staff, owner or players.

Sure, its fun to talk about, but the lengths that some of you guys go to to attack the people and ideas of our team seem incredible and unwarranted to me. Remember how much you guys wanted Jeff Ireland back in the day? LOL, I didn't think so . . .

I don't believe there's much activity from Dolphins employees on this forum. The proof is the overwhelming number of posts here that are negative, and i would guess half of those are completely unsubstantiated BS.

You are entitled to your view as I am entitled to my opinion of your view. The attacks on me when I have pointed out Ireland's dropped balls have been epic so not much sympathy here the other way. I am happy to listen to any argument but my bias is in place. Try not to strain too much trying to point out Ireland's positive moves.

"Pretty much!" Your first response was awesomely unequivocal. It's a shame we feel pressured to edit honesty and have to dance around responding to people in direct terms.

Essentially the same thing. Pretty much is about equal to Not too many alternatives to consider. Lost the original wording as I added the other sentence but if you like the first version OK. Just reworded it as the other poster captured it.

That's what the edit button is for. Not the first time I've seen a post change sure it won't be the last.

I can't imagine this board affecting ticket sales very much because it seems like the active posters here seem to be from a lot of places outside Miami. The company people could lie on their profile but the potential ticket buyers wouldn't. I would think DirectTV would be more interested in how Finheaven presented the team than the Miami Dolphins.

I work for directv myself and i can honestly say we dont care for it all. I post on here because im an avid dolpihn fan not because im trying to sell you nfl sunday ticket or directv. I can agree with the OP and wouldnt doubt that dolphin personnel come on to the forums to promote their business, how ever i doubt it since i also agree that 90% of post on here are bashing the dolphins
 
That would explain a lot. It would be really cool to have the fans run the team and vote for stuff.
