Why is everybody so quick 2 4get that tannehill was supposed to sit for 2-3 years

Ya I struggled with putting him on there but he does have a Super Bowl appearance and I just wanted to point out that the nobody sits argument is pretty ignorant.

yeah i figured it was more about that than elite franchise qb...

Colin Kaepernick is have a very mediocre year at best. His last game he threw for 90 yards and 0 TD's. Wilson has the benefit of a top five defense and top five running game.

Luck played four full years in college. Last week his offensive line was horrible and he was thus equally horrible.

And RGIII took a half a season this year to return to competent form.

If we can't give Tannehill at least three years with his compared to the other guys limited time as a quarterback, we deserve to continue the post Marino QB drought.

But his TD's and yards are all up this year. It's progression plain as ever.

It's the only major reason why I was not in favor of taking the QB with the 8th pick overall pick.. He's obviously not ready for primetime. He needs another year or 2. I'm patient enough because I see major potential, but I KNOW fans are not.. Hell it's only Philbins second year and according to most microwave-world fans, he needs to be fired already :err:

Can't build anything with this fanbase... If i'm Ross I really do look into leaving town.

Or Brady. Or Eli. Or Brees. Or Roethlisberger.

That's just a really inaccurate list in general.
It's also the same ol' imbalanced, "exception to the rule" argument, because it fails to consider the QBs who sat for a period of time and then went on to be unsuccessful.

Explain how these players do not belong on the list other than it pokes holes in your agenda? They all didn't start right away and turned out to be good players. Some sooner some later.

Seriously???? You calling someone else's post "imbalanced and using exceptions to the rule"??? Lol you are the king of cherry picking stats!!!

Eli sat for only 7 games, and Roethlisberger played all but 2

Compare QBs who sat for a period of time to those who did not, in terms of their future success rate. At that point you'll have useful information for the rest of us.

Give him an offensive line that isn't offensive. Now I know how eagles fans felt last year with Vick. Vick didn't even have time to run, the line was that bad.

his o line is worse, his run game is worse, and yet his yards are up along with TDs, comp %, an QBR.....yea definitely a bust. at least shouwrong can honestly admit he doesn't know ryan tannehill's long term product.
