why not draft mcpherson with the 2nd rounder?

I like Mcpherson but not in the 2nd round.... There will be too much value at #46 to draft a QB like him at that point in the draft. Another year of Sage at #3 is fine with me.. GreenMonster

You guys haven't fixed your malpractice problem down there.

Until they have more Doctors that can speak English...not sure it will ever get fixed. When you go for a operation now....it's like your a truck....one leg or arm has YES...and the other has NO. You just love it when they cut off the wrong parts on the wrong side....YIKES.

McPherson would be competing for the starting nod...not third string.

McPherson wouldn't be close to start anywhere for any NFL team...it's going to take him years to get up to speed....the NFL isn't anything like Arena football...heck he may as well have played flagfootball.

McPherson = Most overrated prospect on this message board.

I hope you eat those words McPherson could end up going the next Tom Brady except 2 rounds higher but i dont think we should take him in the 2nd 3rd round definetly

:roflmao: :lol: that has to be the funniest and dumbest thing ive ever seen in any msg bd ever!!!!!!!!!!

adrian = bust

i guess u have to be a noles fan to truly understand what a joke this guy is, i saw him play a few gms and he looked decent at times but he will never be like ron mexico in atl, adrian will never even be a starting qb in the NFL

I don't know why those McPherson arena league stats mesmerize some people. They were pathetically average for the arena league, yet people see how many TD's and think he's Zeus throwing TD Bolts from mount olympus. It is the greatest misinformation I have seen used for any player at any position (well, besides people brushing off Benson's character issues because he looks like Ricky Williams).

Saying any Qb could be the next Tom Brady is ridiculous IMO. A player like Brady comes along once every 20 years, and it is far more likely that a QB turns out to be the next Josh Heupel rather than the next Tom Brady.

maybe i'm letting a little bias cloud my judgement being a nole and all...
there are quarterbacks out there that will surprise us and why not let it be Adrian?

Here is my arguement against taking a QB outside the top 4 who I list as 1A. Smith, 1B. Rodgers, 3. Andrew Walters, 4. Charlie Frye, you can probably put Campbell in the same category though. Say McPherson is taken in the 4th and Feeley does not improve, I think this makes a Qb the top pick in '06 making the pick of McPherson/Greene/Orlovsky worthless. If a team has a good veteran Qb they may turn out to be good pro's, but regardless I don't think they would get the time to develop that a Rodgers/Smith would get because of what is invested in them. Say Feeley struggles and the team is doing terribly and Saban decides to go with the young Qb drafted in the mid-rds, if they struggle, because of later rd draft choice was invested in them they won't get the same amount of time as a Qb taken in the 1st/2nd rd, thus making Qb a top priority for '06.

If someone chooses to reply that a 2nd was invested in Feeley, he is not a young Qb in age, while in game experience he is but I still do not think waiting out on a 28 yr old Qb is a wise decision.
