Why the 49ers Should Emulate Mike McDaniel's Approach to Free Agency

Agree but you know this off-season would have gone completely different with Flores.

The approach McDaniel has brought is refreshing. I think his point was SF has done little this year in FA but they do have a good team.

Ya definitely.

I don't even want to think what would've transpired with Flo. Hill certainly wouldn't have been acquired.

Yes Viagra isn’t the multivitamin tho they look the same
I would know - LOL
I've been prescribed vitamins, so I really do know. They're those little blue pills I take daily. - LOL

Really, my vitamin pills are usually tan or white, but one bottle was actually blue. If they worked like everyone says they do, I'm sure my wife would have reminded me about it - LOL

She probably would have bought more of them (or hid them) - LOL

Certainly the players selected are not the players we would have selected with Flores, based on who he cut - who he kept and who he played (referencing the RB's especially).

funny you'd agree with flo's lawsuit. his allegations against Miami have nothing to do with the alleged motive of the lawsuit.
Well, yah learn something new every day. I didn’t know that. I just thought it had to do with being disgruntled here.

Well it’s very widely reported that Grier wanted Johnathan Taylor but Flores in his wisdom pounded the table for Noah Igbo. Nobody can really **** on Grier anymore

Just keep lying to me bc it's too difficult to know this.

I wish we would stop talking **** about a coach that was offered money to lose (allegedly).

Like/hate Flores, I don’t give a f@ck about your-the general “your” not andyahs specifically- about your opinion.

The only FACT I care about is that a team under his reign made a playoff push for 2 seasons when we had NO EARTHLY BUSINESS doing so. Our defense shot up by leaps and bounds.

Did he royally f@ck up some ****?Absolutely. Hell, Shula costed us a 1st round pick for the tampering in his coming from Baltimore. No coach is perfect.

Do I have a bias? Yes. I liked the guy. Do I agree with his lawsuit? If it’s true he was offered money to lose then damn right I do. Do I dislike him because of said lawsuit? Of course I do.

Flores was a stout coach that just couldn’t find his way out of an offensive funk t-shirt and I think he was clueless on how to do so. But that’s why you higher people and let them do their job. When you f@ck up at work, was it on you or on the company/HR/boss for hiring you?
I was just a baby, so maybe I'm mistaken, but Shula didn't do any tampering. It was his recruitment that was the tampering. There are honestly plenty of other reasons he wasn't perfect; that was a poor example.

McD wants a track team to go with a very accurate qb.

You cant double Waddle or Hill, having that kind off speed from both starting wrs has never been done before, were talking Olympic speed and 2 guys that can't be covered by M2M coverage.

Wanna play 2H all game? Then the running game will hit you for 6 yards a pop, add a safety to the box? Then Waddle and Hill destroy your poor not as fast secondary. Not to mention Mike G in the seam.

Exciting times ahead.
I’d add he wants football players that run like a track team

Dolphins had the cap space, Niners don't. The reason for this is because Niners already have an elite roster. They are paying a bunch of stars already but it doesn't get noticed alot because most of it is home grown talent. I think Warner is one of the highest paid Linebackers in the league. Trent Williams is the highest paid Left tackle. Kittle is the highest paid TE. Deebo is about to get $25 Million per year. And Bosa is about to be the 1st DE to get $30+ Million per year. They also have the highest paid fullback. And they just signed free agent corner and gave him $13 Million a year. Their #1 safety is making about $12 Million this year. Oh and ofcourse they still have Jimmy G who is making $27 Million. You can only go out and pay so many guys.

This is a great compliment to our new coach.

Always wanted McDaniel from the day I started researching him.

They have five elite players in Bosa, Kittle, Warner, Trent Williams and Debo..

Not sure any other team can say the same.

On top of what I love about this off-season for us, we signed all our depth on defense so they can continue to get better in the scheme.

We have three players that are probably gonna be elite this year in X, Hill and Holland…that depth is nice, not training new not as talented players a new scheme will be a advantageous

I cant believe a big time credible mag like SI wrote this. Mike McDaniels isn't running the off season. He is not the gm, that is chris grier. I see fin fans goof this all the time but SI?

Writed must be a jets fan.
