WR Jarvis Landry may have been drafted as WR Brian Hartline's eventual replacement

Hickey overkills WR almost as bad as Ireland overkilled the front 7.

We can't realistically and shouldn't get rid of either Hartline or Wally this year.

Gibson is not either expensive or bad enough to warrant being replaced specially not with Matthews already pushing him.

We brought Damian Williams and also had Binns coming back from injury.

That to me is a much better Top 6 than we have on OL, CB, LB, RB or TE.

That's 5 units we should have worked on BEFORE further log-jamming what is arguably our second best unit (after DL).

I honestly don't agree with what's being done on this off season. I would have rather gotten a RB at Landry's spot.

With the WR position you have to think ahead and be proactive because it takes a year or two to get up to speed. The way you're thinking was the same problem Ireland had which is why we never drafted a WR in the first 2 rounds. If you wait until you need one its too late and you overpay in free agency.

Whether you agree with it or not, Hickey is sticking to his plan.
“Coming into this job, one of my core beliefs is bringing in competitive environments,” Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey said on SiriusXM’s NFL Radio Thursday night. “...When you think you have depth, be careful, because you don’t.”

Watch WRs on legit playoff teams and tell me again if you think Hartline isn't an ordinary WR.

I have watched quite a few playoff teams, and no, he is not ordinary receiver. Does need to get more TDs though.

how anyone can be unhappy with this kid is a shocker to me, and everyone clamoring about how we should've gotten an rb/lb/etc in his place are certainly switching from their BPA warchant pretty quickly....

Some fans need to get their facts straight about Brian Hartline. Hartline has led the Dolphins WRs in YPR in EVERY SINGLE YEARS HE HAS BEEN HERE. That includes a greater YPR then WRs like B Marshall, Mike Wallace etc. And remember that YPR includes YAC, IMO, the 1st thing a WR is supposed to do is get open. The 2nd thing is catch anything that comes anywhere close to him. Maybe 4th is YAC. I like the pick of WR Jarvis Landry because much like Brian Hartline and Devone Bess (before he went nuts) all Jarvis Landry does is get open and catch anything that comes near him, he has big, very strong hands. Hartline is money. Mike Wallace can be traded in two years. I'm still giving Tannehill the value of the doubt over his lack of hitting long passes. I think he missed Hartline on 4 almost sure TDs etc. "The Break" I'm giving Tannehill here was our poor pass blocking OL. Last season we gave up more sacks then any other team (58, 8 more then the 2nd worse, the Jags). I
