Appreciate the thought behind this post but almost 5 years is enough time to allow the bulb to come on......it hasn't and it's time to change bulbs. I mean, look around.....you've got rookie QB's in their first few starts looking better than Tannehill EVER has and if that's not concerning I don't know what is. Yet there are apologists (not saying you) that will find every excuse OTHER than Tannehill being the major issue.....it's always the coaching, the O-line, the WRs, the RBs, yada yada to Tannehill defenders and for some strange reason they protect him like royalty and will tolerate no discussion of him being one of the main issues. I can't say I know of another team that has performed this badly over the years with the one constant being the QB who has remained untouchable during the underachieving & have not changed that guy out.

Michael Irvin has some of the best insight and commentary out of all the talking heads. I'm not sure why he gives you the "douche chills". Both comments by Irvin and Esiason have some merit. We've all said it, that Tannehill needs a lot of above average talent around him for the team to be successful. The talent on the OL has to be at least average and now it is not. When Albert plays, they have an above .500 record. I was surprised Thursday to see he wasn't playing. What's next, DVP out next Sunday? Gase and sitting "injured" players has had an impact on the W/L record his year.

Yep he sucks when the game is tied or within a score. When Miami is winning by a lot or losing by a lot he probably has a career perfect qb rating in garbage time.
2014 on the road in the snow against Pittsburgh comes to mind

That was 2013. Tannehill hooked up with Troy Palamalu for a score that game. Sad when you gotta go back 3 years to find a game of Tannehill playing good (decent) with the game in the balance.

ESPN just brought up the Drew Brees debacle, you know when Miami failed him on his physical and chose Daunte Culpepper instead. WAY TO GO ASSHOLES!
This season is underway....I'm saying he needs to show it soon....like this 4 game homestand....or I'd be happy to give Doughty an 8 game trial in order to assess the QB gameplan for next year.
It goes back farther.....we chose Jamar Fletcher over him in his draft.

Well to be fair Daniel Thomas made the play that ultimately won that game and Ryan had a pick 6. The next week vs NE he was better.

I'd take the "expert" opinions of Collinsworth (who I don't like) & Aikman long before the 2 aforemntioned clowns

I know many here would kil me for saying this but I almost wonder if Ryan would be better if he took 1 or 2 reads and tucked it and ran if it's not there. I know he would likely end up hurt but maybe he'd be more productive while he's in there. The lack of the use of his athleticism is baffling. He may as well be Drew Bledsoe in the pocket.

Tannehill is a stiff. The way he plays and his personality are that of a man with no personality and no burning desire to lead a team.
People got mad at jennings when he flat out said tannehill wasn't that good, was babied, smd had no leadership skills. He was being honest.
