Brandon Marshall TO Dolphins Rumors Are Flying!

It is completely possible this is not a media hype.

It is completely possible people on this board get wood everytime a WR's name is mentioned going to the dolphins......even in fantasy land.

but its fun to watch....really.

If they WERE interested in Marshall wouldn't it make perfect sense to say you "have no interest"? That smacks of smoke to me.
Of course, it's like how they were talking up Gerbil Wilson then a week later cut him.. In the week after talking him up they were probably hoping someone would take the bait.

Fins have not confirmed anything

We wouldn't give up a 4th rounder for Santonio Holmes, and you people think we're going to give up a 2nd for Brandon Marshall? Marshall's off field issues make Santonio Holmes look like a model citizen. And Holmes has never had the football related problems like Marshall had when he got suspended for his behavior at practice, or when he got benched for missing his pt appointments before the most important game of the year. Marshall is a train wreck of a person and a major problem in the locker room. There is no chance that the Dolphins have any interest in him.

Maybe the Fins didn't trade for Holmes because they had something on the table for Marshall..............................................nah.

Im glad the Trifecta has turned this team around, but getting Marshall would be icing on the cake for them. A 2nd, 2011 conditional 3rd (goes to 2nd based off of production), and Ted Ginn would be the deal. No way he gets traded for anything less. I would pull the trigger as long as we're not losing a 1st.

Ginn and 2nd would be sooooooooooooo great. I do not imagine Ginn has much value, but we have a very 2nd round pick, and Ginn would be worth a 5th or 6th.

There has been no one in FA or the draft that I want as much as Brandon. 3 out 4 years with 100+ receptions. He made two very average QBs look like Pro-Bowlers. There is no one available that could make as big of an impact next season as Marshall could. He would also be signed for at least one year when we trade for him, so he will be there in training camp. If we draft a WR the odds are is he will miss at least training camp if not longer.

Then if we could get a superstar at WR and keep our #12 draft pick we could then select an impact FS or NT. Two starters for sure if we trade for Marshall. There is no way we can do better than that.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll put the ball in the Broncos' court Tuesday when asked about a possible trade for Brandon Marshall.
"We're just kind of waiting and seeing," said Carroll. "We're on alert, watching. It's an interesting situation so we'll just have to wait it out." SI.com's Peter King said Tuesday that one GM not interested in Marshall believes the Broncos can still get a top-35 draft pick in return, which we see as highly optimistic. Seattle's second-round pick is at No. 60 overall.

BTW besides all the off field crap Holmes had the Fins didn't trade for Holmes because he does not fit what they look for in a WR. At 5-10 Holmes is not a Parcells type

Why doesn't anyone understand simple concepts?

1. Marshall is better than Holmes.
2. Holmes is suspended for 4 games.
3. Holmes is 1 wrong step away from being suspended for a year.
4. Pittsburgh was going to cut Holmes if nobody traded for him. Marshall is in no danger of being cut.

Trading Marshall for a 2nd round pick would be a huge move by the team and would really stick it to the Jets.

I don't want the Fins to get Marshall but I don't see how that would "stick it to the Jets". I didn't want the Jets to get him either, but you can't deny his talent.

Man the Seahawks WR corp is prety good they got TJ Houchz and who do we have noone man we need to be more hungry than them and snatch up Marshall for a 2nd. Instead of spending a first in Bryant to find out he can be a possible bust.

No. Housh is their only good receiver.
