Dolphins hire Dave DeGuglielmo as OL coach

He’s basically an earthling with experience as an NFL O line coach and a pulse. “You’re hired!”

That's about how "high" the bar is in Davie. Don't do blow on company furniture while taping yourself to send to a Vegas Hooker. Don't use company computers to surf porn while playing Backstroke Roulette.

Basically just don't turn your office into Pouncey's house.
 
Maybe he can give some technique that we have been badly needing. In Gase we trust(?)

Also, does he have any Vegas connections.

Lastly, how stupid is that hooker who is possibly pregnant with Foerster's kid. Now that he's fired, how's that child support gonna go for ya?
 
Hopefully just filler until the offseason. Not concerned at this point. Not many options out there right now.
 
Always seems like there's so much junk to clean out in Davie. Too often there are players or staff seemingly just enjoying the paycheck and coasting instead of trying to be the best. Will that ever get cleaned up or is it a perpetual cultural problem being in Miami?
 
We all know how this is going to play out: new OL coach teaches new technique to players, takes 6 games for players to grasp technique, QB is sacked a million times in those 6 games, we lose the LT for the season with a freak injury, move James over to LT where his play gets considerably worse, WRs still can't create separation, Gase still can't call a pass play beyond 10 yards, Cutler still throws off his back foot, we lose 5 of 6, we question everything that's going on inside and outside of the Dolphins building, we realize there is no Dan Marino to save us from football hell for the 18th consecutive year. Life as a Dolphins fan. I might just order that ugly christmas sweater from the NFL shop.

He was widely praised his first year there for doing a great job with the line. The following year they used something like 14 starters on an injury depleted line. From what I read, BB didn't really blame him as much as he got tired of the guy complaining about the lack of talent they gave him. I think that's why he got fired. You don't rock the boat in NE.
