Marshall victim wants justice, doesn't look good for Marshall

I believe her story, and that it will be increasingly apparent that it's accurate.

Nobody screams civil suit in the early stages. A criminal verdict or settlement, or even publicized criminal scrutiny without enough evidence to go forward, increases the potential for civil relief.

Cameras are a non-issue in a case like this. Clubs invariably focus cameras on two places -- employees in the bar area who may be ripping them off, and on entrances to verify to police and authorities that IDs were checked when appropriate. That issue, beyond any other, gets night clubs in legal trouble.

If the incident happened outside the immediate scope of an entrance, it's likely not on camera.

Besides, cameras are insanely overrated. The establishments want it that way, as a deterrent. Movies like Oceans 11 have applied a bizarre sophistication to surveillance equipment that doesn't threaten reality. I have friends who are undercover detectives in Las Vegas casinos who chortle over the impressions left by movies like that. Day to day those roaming guys are asked to check out situations that turn out to be completely harmless but the cameras believed to be sinister. Years after Oceans 11 made Las Vegas casinos look like impenetrable fortresses with cameras everywhere, a couple of hooded guys jumped over the desk at the Treasure Island cage and made out with a major score, scampering out the front door and onto the Strip. The cage didn't even have bars.

If you want an accurate appraisal of cameras in a situation like this, take your impression of presence/effectiveness and divide by at least 10.

I worked with camera a great deal back when I was in security, and the quality can vary a great deal depending on lots of factors. The biggest factor
in this case would be low light. Cameras like that have very limited frame rate and focus at night. During the day they are freakin great though.

alot of ppl here are saying nothing good ever happens at night clubs, let me correct that statement. "nothing good ever happens around alcohol". Reminds me of growing up, everytime we drank liquor / beer something always happened and it was never a good thing.

My prediction is, this girl was drunk and she let marshall have it with some harsh words, marshall himself probably had a few drinks himself and with his violent past, there was no way he was going to walk away with out takin a shot back. And no i dont mean a shot with words lol.

Although Brandon Marshall had a monster game in the pro bowl..the NFL's version of flag football, he didn't exactly light it up while playing for the fins.

he stood right there on tv and told why , he wanted a franchise QB something we havent had since dan marino.

Nightclubs tend to attract drugs, tend to sell booze, and attract people that have been using one of the above two substances. Not everyone, naturally, but
as a concentration of people, they are not wise to hang around if you have something to lose.

So balls that hit him on the hands are only catchable if he approves of the QB?

How about this; I want a WR that doesn't inexplicably run out of bounds with nothing but open field in front of him.

So, is TWO 3rd rounders a bad deal now?

Let's see what you say 3-6 months from now.

Well since I rarely just change my tune on a whim probably the same thing. If he is suspended for a year then yes it was a good trade.
My whole problem with any of this is supposedly Ireland does such due diligence like he did with Dez Bryant but still traded 2 second rounders for him.
Then gave him a fat contract. I think its disingenuine to applaud this trade and ignore that Marshall was a worse risk when we traded for him. Arrested a dozen times bfore he was a dolphin, not once as a dolphin. Marshall was arrested twice for domestic violence prior to being signed by us and actually had to take a plea deal to avoid jail time but yet hasnt even been arrested in this case where he supposedly struck some woman. Seems like if it was clear cut he would have been arrested already. we traded a pro bowl Wr and got very little and from all accounts to my suprise Marshall was not a cancer in the locker room.

Here is what i am struggling with! She claims bouncers told her NFL players were fighting and she couldn't go in, with the TMZ era we live in and bouncers openingly telling people NFL people are fighting not one iphone, droid, ipad, ipod, camera, etc caught the fight? By no means am I defending Marshall but the opportunist in me would have had that sir on my phone so quick! Chaching

Ppl seem to like the drops argument quite a bit. Yet fail to mention hes top ten or better in yards and catches, and he was two tds from being top five in that category. Funny how fitz and boldins production drop when warner hangs it up. Somehow, the coach, gm and owner can all publicly state they want an upgrade at qb. But brandon is out of line when he says it. Every fin fan america knows we need and wants a qb upgrade, but how dare marshall say such a thing.
