Arroyo sucks...why in god's name was he in the overtime....lebron should be going point forward in crunch time...

Eddie house...im done with him...Spo needs to realize that he isn't big time player and shouldn't be in the crunch time situations.

I would have kept anthony in there at the end to at least have a big man down inside...bosh and haslem can't handle it...

Joel/bron (point guard)/wade/bosh/james(soon to be miller) should be the 5 in crunch time...

get arroyo and house out of there...im still pissed...

With .4 seconds left, House needed to be in there. Him and James Jones have been shooting lights out from 3. The Jazz had everybody tied up with great rotational D and House was the only person open. They were out of timeouts. They had no choice. If James was shooting better all game we wouldn't even be talking about a loss right now. Bad nights happen

our losses so far:
celtics (rondo PG)
hornets (paul PG)
jazz (Williams PG)

teams with top point guard play so far we are 0-3...

teams with great point guards and great big men are going to give us a lot of trouble...

You didn't just name top point guards, you named the top 3 point guards in the game today. They will give anybody trouble. Look what happened when we played the Magic with Jameer Nelson and D Howard, we shut them down.

Eddie House is known for his crunch time shooting.....in fact that's pretty much all hes known for. Hes a streak shooter....the shot will come back.

Anthony did play well this game, and got completely destroyed the previous two. I think eventually they're going to have to play the matchups, starting Anthony some games, Ilgauskas others, and maybe even Magloire at times. Anthony has shown that hes going to give it his all but he'll get overwhelmed by the bigger, more physical players. He seems ok against the softies like big Al.

Spoelstra isn't going to change the starting lineup or rotation every time a player has a bad game....that's a job for the fans. I do think some change is coming though.

p.s, maybe one of u guys can answer this question, since the cba expires after this year, and one of the things david stern wants to implement is a hard cap, would that affect the wade, bosh, and james tandem due to the amount of money each of them r making?

Riley put the core of this team together within the bounds of the cap. Wade + Bosh + James + Miller + Haslem + Anthony were all signed with the Heat below the cap line.

There's no chance a true hard cap will be introduced. If they maintained salaries the way they are today you'd have to completely dismantle the Celtics, Lakers, Magic, Mavs, Sixers, Hawks, and Bucks. Miami would be one of the few teams that wouldn't be effected, but you can't destroy the primary revenue earners for your league. That would be suicide.

The hard cap, 30% salary reductions, no exceptions, league contraction.....its all posturing.

The problem is that there is no rookie players. They all got cut. Except for Pittman. And he won't see the floor all season. Heck, he will be lucky to even break the active roster for a game. He's burried on the depth chart behind Anthony, Bosh, Haslem, Howard and Maglore.

And there won't be any rookies for the next few seasons. Miami traded away all of their draft picks to sign LeBron and Bosh to longer contracts.

Varnado was signed and shipped overseas where hes doing quite well. Butler was cut but is still using the Heat facilities to rehab. He will make an attempt to break into the top 15 when healthy but in all likelihood is headed to the d-league. Both should get an opportunity along with Pittman to break into the rotation next year.
