Sanchez-Henne-Fitz Watch

Jesus. How the hell can junc think Sanchez did anything good in crunch time is beyond me. How he thinks Sanchez played as well as Henne is beyond me. How he thinks Sanchez led his team to victory is even further beyond me. He was 4-10 for 56 yards when within 7. What a clutch player. If Romo doesn't go full retard, the Jets likely lose the game.

You are comparing who played better. The winner generally plays better. Down 28-17, Henne couldn't make a comeback. Down 24-10, Sanchez made a comeback with a 27-24 victory.

Difference? Henne chokes when he has to lead a comeback. Down 28-17, Henne had two three and outs, and a failed fourth down conversion before scoring while the game was over. Sanchez scored right away on the first drive in the 4th quarter to make it 24-17,

Your so right...I bet the 2006 bears Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman were the best QB's in the NFL because they went to the superbowl then right?

Ok, lets expect Henne to make a comeback where our defense gives up 516 passing yards and the Pats still weren't done yet, makes sense. About just as much sense as the "Sanchez made a comeback" statement, yep Sanchez was the sole reason you guys won that game, Sanchez just morphs into black RBs on special teams and blocks the punts and then takes over Romos mind to throw the pick right to Revis. Then what does Sanchez do? Oh thats right gets a whole 2 yards for Nick Folk to kick a 50 yard field goal, real clutch right there.

Henne also led the team down to the 1 yard line and a play to give Marshall a fade route on fourth down and Marshall was double teamed forcing him to throw a fade to Hartline. Don't say he chocked when we weren't in that game by the time the 4th quarter rolled around.

Aside from playing one of the 2 elite teams in the league (looking like GB is the other) having the best QB vs playing a 6-10 team, here's the difference:

Sanchez had a lower QBR than McNabb and McNabb threw for 39 yds, that tells you how much this stat actually tells us. Henne's team lost by 14(21 if not for a garbage time TD), passing yds are nice but it's about points and making plays to win. sanchez didn't make plays late to win but he made a ton of plays to keep them in the game until those last couple of drives.

How come you guys are using total QBR now? last year you used the regular QB rating b/c henne was slightly ahead and you haven't brought up the total QBR b/c Sanchez was much better in that one.

We can post all the stats we want but it's about making plays to win games- something Sanchez does better than Henne and Fitz.

When does winning matter?Here?Never...
Sanchez=won
Brady=Won(even though everyone here says he is done cause the jets beat him twice)
Fitz= Won
HENNE=LOST

Oh Yeah. Henne is the next peyton manning...

Jeez Jet Fans are retarded. Congratulations Sanchez got a win handed to him. He's obviously tied for best QB in the league since he, along with 15 other QBs, won their game. I guess Alex Smith, Rex Grossman, and Jason Campbell are as good as Sanchez.

Oh I thought this was a "Sanchez-Henne-Fitz Watch" thread not a "Qbs who won this week" thread! silly me!

Winning obviously matters to every team but when a thread is started that has nothing to do with winning, why would we talk about it?

Seriously I think some of you are so stupid you couldn't write dialogue for a porno flick.

I know, thank god we didn't draft Matt Ryan, guy throws for 300 yards and loses? trash.

Oh Yeah. Henne is the next peyton manning...

Jets=won despite Sanchez
Dolphins=lost because the defense gave up 900 yards

Nobody said he was

He did thanks to a garbage time TD, in the competitive portion of the game Sanchez led his O to more Ipoints against a better D.

:lol:I assume you man the diving, near impossible catch on the last possession? I love the "dropped INTs" stats, didn't Henne have a couple dropped or do those not count?

:lol2:

Per the usual no Jet fans respond to my post backed with stats, and using their logic and showing how illogical it is. Chalk another one up for the good guys.

Thats a Hawk Harrilson quote right there :)

That's EXACTLY why I put "generally" in my statement.

I guess I don't understand the meaning of clutch. To me, its putting points on board to lead the game very late when ur team is down or tied. Yeah, he got 2 yards, but he didn't turn it over. I guess ur gonna go back to the "Omg, he had dropped pick" girly talk? For that matter, Alan Ball is a corner and corners aren't WRs that make diving ints on regular basis.

Henne also led the team down to the 1 yard line and a play to give Marshall a fade route on fourth down and Marshall was double teamed forcing him to throw a fade to Hartline. Don't say he chocked when we weren't in that game by the time the 4th quarter rolled around.

By the time 4th quarter rolled around, it was an 11 point game for Dolphins. By the time 4th quarter rolled around, it was a 10 point game for the Jets. How different are the situations?

Only a Dolphin fan would use stats to try and prove a point. Where on the stat sheet does it show that Sanchez was nearly sacked? Where on stat sheet does it show that Sanchez scrambled to throw a TD pass? Exactly. Kids use pure stats to prove points. Talking about stats, which QB came out with the most important stat? Yeah, I thought so.

Idiotic post go figure. 4th quarter within 7. 4-10 56 yards, but this guy was a playmaker in the clutch on Sunday somehow. Henne was hurried 18 times and played better than Sanchez by far. I guess Sanchez is as good as Alex Smith, Grossman, Luke McCown, and Jason Campbell right? Admit to that last point, and I might give you a pat on the back for finally following your own logic.
