How Would You Feel If Tannehill Ends Up With The Patriots?

What the hell do I care who’s on the Patriots’ bench? Just hope he takes the “IHeartTannehill” fan club with him. And Gase too while he’s at it.

Tannehill is serviceable. He's a competent quarterback that a team can win with if they surround him with talent. That begins with an above average offensive line since his major weakness is pocket presence.

IMO, he is better than serviceable with an above average online....too bad he doesn’t seem like he will get the chance to do that here tho....think BB would put up with the online problems RT has had to deal with almost his entire career for more than 2 games?? I don’t.

If we get rid of Tannehill, then that means we a better qb here. Miami won't let him go unless we plan to have a better body here. If so, then I wouldn't lose a bit of sleep if he went elsewhere.
We know his weaknesses, and will exploit them when we play them.

I would feel that if anybody can develop tannehill it would be the Patriots. They have better coaches than us and they prove it every year.

That would be his best chance at a SB. Belichick made Cassel look like a probowl QB

Easy sacks and pick sixes against the Patriots? Who wouldnt be incredibly satisfied with that? That signing would be the sign of the end of the Patriots dynasty.

Well, if Injury have started to take what he can do, and he become injury prone, I would no matter what, feel bad for th ed guy, never had been given a consistent chance to show what kind of a QB he could have been.

If he gets past this injury cycle he has been in, and end up playing for the Pats, where they are more consistent blocking, I will st sit back and wait for the short-sighted on here, to eventually start telling us..."Now all of a sudden, he can lead a team to victories, and playing better then Brady was the year before...what the hell!!" As the bi-polar people start wondering why all of sudden Tannehill is playing well (which was really not all of sudden for those actually paying attention).

Right now Tannehill is not playing up to how he used to play (horrible line or not), so he could be done...the Bill's game will tell us bit more, considering most QBs look bad against the Jags D.

No, it means we will have a different QB. There is absolutely no way to guarantee we will have a better QB just because RT is gone. The free agency market is really thin and looks to be filled with similar or far worse talent than RT. This year’s QB class is also really thin, and we pick mid-first. Unless there is a potential steal flying under the radar at QB, odds are good we will be in the same, if not worse shape at the QB position next season.

Unfortunately, we may never find out what Tannehill could be with an above average offensive line. He's kind of being made out to be the scapegoat at this point. Decent quarterback for sure.

It would be like the Nick Saban situation. I wouldn't care where Tannehill went or what he did once he got there.

Gone is the gift

I despised Saban for who he was. I don't have anything against Ryan Tannehill other than he is paralyzing this franchise in the later stages of my mortal lifespan.

If B.B. signs Tannehill, I have no reason to doubt he will be successful on that team. Everyone heralds Brady, but Jimmy G and Cassel played almost as well or better than Brady when they were in the lineup. Everyone NEhas ever taken from us has been 100% better on their franchise. I remember when fans on this site were fully happy to have gotten rid of Welker and were positive he would be insignificant there. There are others, but you get the point.

On the plus side, everyone would finally learn if they were right or wrong about Tannehill’s upside and ceiling.

I'd rather see him go to an average team without a decent QB to start, just to see how he does. I'm curious.
