Would You Be Upset If We Go Cb 1st Round?

If CB is the highest rated player on their board....than sure. DL is deep in this draft, probably can find good talent in second round that would normally be first round in other years.

I would be upset. We need a #2 CB with out a doubt, but its not a top 3 need. I will be upset if we don’t get a QB, but if we don’t get a QB it needs to be DT, DE, T, G, or C. When you build a team you start on the lines. We can sign a #2 CB, and take another flier on a later round CB.

Yep out of reach is definitely a possibility.

Imo that’s probably top 4 with what miami can offer short of trading the next 3 years first round picks and I don’t see that being something miami would pony up or consider even

If you try and can’t get there and Oakland takes him at 4 well time to look to 2020

Trading down and getting a CB appeals to me a little. I mean, I wouldn’t hate it.

Baker or Williams I am all for.

Zonas the only one in the top 4 I think could trade out.

But that’s just me I guess. And it helps that a bosa is there as the carrot not to.

San Fran and the Jets I see taking bpa on their board without hesitation. They have qbs what you trading out for?

Oakland I call their bluff or trade up with them. Unless Derek Carr exits between now and then.

Tampa open for business

Perhaps so. But I don't think so.

As I said though, if the Cardinals are saying they're going to draft Murray, then at that point the negotiations are done for me. Because I don't believe they really would be of the mindset that they're going to give up on Josh Rosen and go with Kyler Murray, unless we give them draft picks, and then they'll be OK going all the way down to 13 overall and ending up with some non-elite player like Christian Wilkins or Jawaan Taylor.

If the Cardinals are truly after Kyler Murray, it's done. There is such a thing as a player being out of reach.

No! It's called leverage and good business sense. If I'm a team's GM then i'm interested in "every player" in the draft including Kyler Murray.
That Cardinals team needs lots of help at practically every position. Guess what? That's going to require lots of draft picks.
Thus, I'm willing to dangle the Kyler Murray, #1 overall draft spot, to all interested parties.

Josh Rosen got destroyed behind that Cardinals OL last season.
How much better is a prospect like Murray going to do? 2-4 games better? Maybe?

So why not get as much as I can for that pick and then use them to sensibly build my team?

It all depends on who's still on the board. There are only two corners I'd draft in the first round but we really need to fix the D-line first. It doesn't matter who your corners are, if we have no pass rush the corners will give up plays. This is a pretty good draft to go D-line. That is the one position in this draft that is above average so D-line is where we should go.

There's really no evidence that it would cost that much so it's kind of a silly question to ask.

I have conviction that he's a franchise quarterback that will be one of the most threatening signal callers in the NFL for however long he plays, which I assume will be an average length of time.
So, you want to spend the 13th pick on a guy that is only going to play 3 1/2 to 4 years? Really?:ponder::shrug:

Off season mania!! The plan they initially laid out is sound, simple, and will work. Build the lines. Draft a QB and the other sexy positions in 2020.

Embrace the rebuild!! Resist off season mania and all the QB hype. Dolphins need DL and OL from the draft and any free agents they can snag that are under 29 years old.

Team is tanking so I don’t GAF what they do. I’m not looking forward to this year at all and it’s horrible. I love the team and NFL but what can a guy do at this point?

You can watch GOT's in the meantime

It's crazy that a few weeks ago we were debating if Murray would be worth spending the #13 pick and now we are debating how much we have to give up to go get him. I still think he is a high risk high reward prospect and it would be a huge risk to sell the farm for a guy so unconventional at his position.

I wouldn't be upset if drafted a CB at 13 as long as he doesn't suck and is actually a player worth keeping around past his rookie contract and that goes for any position we draft at 13. We need playmakers and difference makers.

ABSOFREAKING LUTELY! This is why I think it’s so incredibly ignorant or incredibly brilliant to tell the world your drafting a QB in 2020.
