Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

The price isn't bad TBH considering he was a top ten pick. I don't get why it's so high considering there's no market or why we signed fitz if this was the plan.

we trying make sense for not draft Haskin last night. our gm was question hard at press conference. this is gm that have been here for 18 yr. you know what dolphins have lack last 19 yr, you doing same **** other GM. have done in Miami. that why I am little upset. I feel we should of hire difference gm for job now. I could be wrong but this is how I feel. go get drew lock if u want qb. I don't think rosen got heart to compete to be great

No I agree with you about the GM. I wanted him gone along with Gase and Tannebaum. I wanted Ross to clean house.

How do you know?
Because Rap was just asked who are we competing against and he said no one. They either trade him to us or they'll keep him but we know they won't keep him. We need to play hard ball. If we don't get him so what? We'll go QB high in 2020

Let's go get our guy! I'm on the Rosen train!,

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If Miami has done their homework on Rosen, and they truly believe he can develop into a franchise QB, then that is worth trading a second rounder for, regardless of what posters on a message board say

True.

The issue isn't Rosen's value and whether he is worth a 2nd rounder, but the fact that Arizona has no leverage and Miami has no reason to give them the edge in a trade. Miami isn't the desperate team in this scenario if it drags out.

Grier being safe with pick will not get dolphins out basement. letting all of them guy go and u cannot draft is waste of time. setting dolphins back more yr. I would rather be 6 to 8 win than lose 12 or 14 games yr.

The bottom line is Grier must like Rosen a lot more than Haskins because he had a chance to draft Haskins without giving up any draft picks and didn't take him.

I don't think there's any doubt hes talented but I wouldn't give more then a 3rd

Rosen doesn't feel like a good fit to me. He is a polar opposite personality type than Flores.

I'd love to be wrong about this but it has failure written all over it.

I'd rather show some discipline and take a solid defensive / oline player in the 2nd round than bring in this kid.

This would be like a desperate boy asking out a fat girl to the prom at the beginning of the school year instead of waiting until closer to the prom when he could of asked the cute girl to the prom.
Actually it would be more like shrewd investor Warren Buffett who understands the intrinsic values of a company presently in distress for some superficial reason, loading up on its stock.

The dog has been eating Miami's homework for two decades now.

Welp...common sense would dictate a year of watching him crap the bed on a NFL team would tend to change one's opinion, wouldn't it?? Although he was stuck on a not very good team...we're not exactly stocked with talent to help him or make him look better.

I forgot, wins are a qb stat. AZ was one of the few teams worse than us on offense.
