A.J. Feeley

Yes, they have much, much more upside then Feeley. Palmer had a decent season, and never looked as Bad as AJ. As much as Carr has struggled, he has never looked as bad as AJ. And Manning, are you kidding me, Aj will never be as good as Eli, and Eli never looked as bad as AJ.

I'll say it again, AJ was not worth a 2nd round pick, and we could have gotten him for less!!

PS

Honestly tell me you would rather have AJ then one of the above QB's???

haha you obviously missing my point... you said as of now feeley isn't worth a 2nd rounder cause he hasn't performed like one, but neither have these other QBs, yet they were number 1 picks... so why isn't feeley worth the 2nd rounder? cause YOU dont think he has potential? because if it was based purely on performance according to you NO QB would be worth a high pick because they never come in and perform right away (ok almost never)...

you keep saying hes not worth the 2nd rounder, but if your basing that on performance then eli isn't worth the number 1 pick and thats crazy...

an inexperienced QB need time to develop before you can determine if hes worth that pick... just like feeley will after a full year here starting then you can determin if he was worth that second round pick...

and on a side note eli never looked that bad? haha cmon bro your in jersey you saw him play, hes one of the few QBs who had a worse rating than feeley, haha... but its only been 1 year, you can write him off yet... same with feeley

the only thing Feely's got going for him is that he has a hot girlfriend.

You have that 100% right. I fail to see how that translates to sucess in the NFL, in fact I have said it is a liability.

Where is feeley this offseason? Meeting with Saban.. or off on a boat somewhere with Heather? (BTW I got no problem w/ Heather Mitts herself, she is just the guys GF.) He has been M-I-A since the season left. If the guy would come in and do some actual work to improve, maybe we would not feel this way. BUT.. the guy doesn't seem to care too much about football right now. SABAN IS NOT SOLD on him. I KNOW SABAN wants something better, but he has got to be willing to pay the price and GO GET SOMEONE and he hasn't done it. I would be happy if I knew that Saban was bummed over missing out on Smith...or Frye...or Greene... if he would come out and say "We really wanted those guys, we need to address QB" that is ALL we ask. NOT to just ignore the position altogether... or go sign Berlin. Bring in Guidugli or the FAU kid, or that Div. II 6'7'' guy who they scouted. DO THAT and show you at least are TRYING to address the need at QB.

Maybe its what he thinks of Gus and Sage???
Then he would have brought in somebody young to eventually replace Frerrotte because he's old or signed Rosenfels to contract longer than one year.

Yes I saw Eli play, and he showed much more promise and poise then AJ ever showed last year!

FA and next draft!

I think it's too early to say whether or not he was worth it. Some of the better QB's in the league took a year or two to develop. Just look at Drew Brees. Lets get a solid O-Line in front of Feeley and see what he can do. Then we decide.

That comment is irrelivent. Saban CHOSE to stick with Feeley. If he really thought Feeley was as worthless as some people here are making him to be, we'd have Rogers or Smith right now but we don't so that shows that Saban is willing to give Feeley a shot, which is how everyone else should approach it, imo.
He hasn't stuck w/ feely but I'm sure he wants to see what he inherited first before deciding if he should throw that inheritance in the garbage. The job is not Feely's yet. He has to beat Gus at camp.

Teams just don't let good QBs become free agents. Next years draft will have less talent at QB than this one had, unless your picking number 1 because of Lienart. Trust me we won't have a shot at him.

I agree that Saban still wants to see just what he has in Feeley, but I can tell you that Feeley WILL be the starter over anyone else we have right now. I feel pretty comfortable in that prediction.

You Know SABAN and what he wants? Until Saban says what you want to hear, "We really wanted those guys, we need to address QB", I guess you're bumming. At the moment, Saban apparently doesn't need address QB.

Wasn't it Feeley who threw 3 touchdowns in the 1st quarter against the Bills?:roflmao:
Now he has a running back
Now he has a solid oc
Now he has a year under his belt
Now he has a real HC
Now he has a real o-line coach

11-5 :fire:

All those QBs are better than Feeley. The AJ Feeley trade was the worst trade in the NFL last year.
Just say no to drugs.

What your not thinking about, is we would have had the 2nd, 35th pick and the 46th pick!

We would of up into now, been better with both those picks then AJ.

Yeah and you would have been bitching about Fiedler still being our QB
