but is it "classic" because Shula came to town and they won two super bowls? If Shula never arrived, i'd venture a guess this poll would hold much less loyalty...

i like the white/white... hate the orange jerseys... i would embrace a darker aqua, almost like the seahawks have...

i will say, however, that the navy blue trim isn't bad at all ... and with it, our colors represent our area moreso than any other team -- considering the ocean, and the sunsets... the uniform changes JJ's regime brought aboard was an improvement...

Here's is why it is classic. Tampering with that uniform flies in the face of all this represents.

However change can be good, and in today's NFL owners, the more Jersey's, and stuff they can sell, the more money for them.

Tom Brokaw wrote an extremely well received book called The Greatest Generation. In terms of creativity and graphic design, someone should wrote an antonym book regarding this generation. The kids with degrees in those fields today are ungodly monsters who thrill to overdo everything. Magazine covers are plastered with text and confusing design that doesn't naturally lead the eye to one central simple area and theme. Movies require speed or smash or profanity in every quadrant of the screen for two hours, with clever dialogue or plot almost non-existent.

That was an elongated lead-in to the identical curse of contemporary uniforms. A logo should be something you can sketch or approximate in 5 seconds, just a few strokes of a pen. Name one recent one that qualifies. I can throw ketchup against the wall and approximate most of the new ones. Likewise the new uniforms are overdone scattergun garbage. The Oregon Ducks must be trying to blind everyone who attends or watches their games. All these swooshes and swirls are examples of runaway incompetence. When you can't think of anything clever just keep sticking on one superfluous thing after another.

By far our best uniform is white on white with the old logo. The aqua top is terrific also. The aqua pants should be donated to anyone who wants to sweat plenty and look bad doing it.

As long as Saban brings glory and Super Bowls I dont care what they wear;)

Would you embrace a new uniform and scheme for the Dolphins? Coincidence, perhaps, but it did preclude glory for the Broncos, Bucs and Patriots...

No, no, and no!

They should go back to wearing the throwbacks, An occassional once a year different color is fine but nothing more.

signed

old school.

speaking of throwback... on a side note, who would embrace having 1 (one) game each year played in the Orange Bowl?

a dump, i know... but oh the nostalgia... i would LOVE that...

How about all black. J/k  Although in Madden they have the Orange tops and white pants as an alternate uni for home games. I love to use that one, and i think maybe we could use that, it doesn't have to be all the time maybe a game or two a year. Just a thought.

I would definatly embrace new jerseys... I mean, I really like the ones we have now, but I feel it would kinda be like a completely new team in a new era. The cardinals are doing it and I think it is great!

Nasty

I voted no....I'd rather not...but I would accept it if it went down....what other choice would I have.

I got another good idea, sure to be a best seller and at the same time instil the fear of god in our oponents. Lights in the cleats.

Hell NOOOOOO....call me old school....I would like us to go back to the 1972 look. :)

imo it would be really cool if they went throwback. the dolphins are the only old school power who have changed their uniform- the raiders, cowboys, steelers, and packers uniforms have had little to no changes made to them. i like the current logo, but hate and have always hated the aqua pants. i'd like to see them go with the unis from '70 and '71 (the ones without the stripes- like the kiick and czonka pic in ozzy's sig) and keep the current logo but remove the navy, and go to a darker aqua, similar to the aqua on this site.
