A Tale Of Two Cities - San Francisco and Miami

Ok, if you are qualifying him as the "greatest college football coach of all time", I can say you have a valid point. Not "greatest coach who ever lived".

It would be foolish to compare coaches from other sports, either college or pro, against each other.

But yes I was talking about college football.

No, its just odd that the Niners are getting love as their window is closing and we just beat them and then some of these same posters pretend like we're the worst franchise in the league when our QB hasn't had a losing record once in 5 years.

Sure but that wasn't my point. And a few bad drafts doesn't make yours.

San Fran was done by the time they came to Miami. We lose that game if it’s in San Fran.

Tbis is like the owner handing out game balls to the coaching staff after beating a 6-8 going in San Fran team at home.

Who cares?

We went to the jets and got pasted. Week 18.

They beat Chicago by 25 and lost a defensive battle to Rams, 12-6, a week before playing us. Also went to the end with Detroit week 17 (40-34) so that doesn't appear to be the case at all about San Fran's finish.

I defend against inaccurate criticisms and people with agendas.

I’ve criticized the FO plenty and I’ve criticized Tua (but ya I think he’s pretty good)

I only call out the people who make stuff up like those who try to make it appear as if we’ve been bad the last couple years.
We’ve been bad the last couple of years,

sometimes embarrassingly bad.

Just because we won 9 games in that fashion is not the standard of good imo

We were 11-6 two years ago and by the end of the season had lost our top 3 edge rushers. Sorry we couldn't still beat the Chiefs in -30 degree weather anyway.

A 1 point loss to Tennessee, the rest of the losses were to the best teams in the league. KC, Buffalo, Philly and Baltimore.

You can be disappointed but don't be ridiculous.

I believe we finished 1 and 5 to end the year.

Being good or bad is based on the totality of the season and how hi of level you performed in the big games

We didn't win a playoff game. We had to go to KC bc we pooped it down the stretch and blew the division. That includes tua who also pooped himself down the stretch against the better teams. Chubby being hurt had nothing to do w tua and the offense being exposed

Yup they were exposed, to potential frost bite.

Eagles were exposed last year too, turned out alright for them the next year.

Exposed, lol.

I have no doubt we’ll lose the next time the temp is -30.

So now its a bad thing if someone points out anything positive about this franchise? Deep down you actually believe you are a great a Dolphins fan, don't you?

Did Miami thoroughly beat San Fran, or not?
I'm an excellent Dolphin fan sir thank you very much. I'm still here after 25 years of insufferable football, front offices and coaching

It's very simple

Talk about the thread title San Fran vs Miami

Talk about other Fins stuff that relates to that

DO NOT GO AFTER OTHER POSTERS YOU DISAGREE WITH PERSONALLY OR YOU GET BANNED FROM THIS DISCUSSION
