3 time Superbowl Champion (XXVII, XXVIII, XXX)
Superbowl XXVIII MVP
NFL MVP 1993
8 time Pro-Bowl Selection (1990-1995, 1998-99)

All-Time NFL Rushing Yards Leader (17,162)
All-Time NFL Rushing Touchdown Leader (153)
Most 100 yard games (78 - new record 10/24/04)
Emmitt breaks the 18,000 yard barrier (11/14/04)
Emmitt wasn't even in the same class as Barry Sanders. Sanders would be ahead in all the yards and probably rushing TDs. Emmitt Smith always ran behind a behemoth offensive line and had ALOT of talent around him (the entire O-Line, Aikman, Irvin) Sanders ran behind mostly average - and below average lines, never had a good QB.
You can take all of that out of the equation. It doesn't matter. Barry Sanders was WAY better than Smith. Smith isn't even 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th best. Emmitt wouldn't have ever caught Barry if Barry wouldn't have retired. This is not a knock on Smith. I have always hated the Cowboys, but always liked Smith. But there is no way Smith was ever even close to the running back Barry was.
