I'll add another one. Take Carter out, and put in Paul Warfield. In his prime he would be one of the best today.

Over Winslow? He was pretty useful if you ask me, but I'll take Shannon Sharp in a milisecond over any TE.

no way sanders or brown is better than payton! sanders could not do it all, brown played when the d-linemen were 235pounds and safetys were 175 lol

I think he was a FB

FBs were used an entirely different way back then. The league didn't have but a once in a lifetime freak RB that was and 230 lbs. with good speed (Jim Brown). Csonka, though playing the FB position was utilized the way we use RBs today.
