Amendola to sign with Dolphins

Not understanding the "Parker is out" talk. Not a huge parker fan, but he isn't the same kind of receiver as Wilson & Amendola at all. Need more field stretchers than Stills... not that Parker is the right guy. I just don't think these signings even play the same basic position (outside).

Carroo is making pennies in NFL wages, he will be in camp. This team isn't overspending on wr's in free agency because of Carroo. If they part ways w/ Carroo before camp it's just another black mark on the inept personnel decisions.
MY advice to our front office Einsteins

We don't have to worry about him leading with his head on crack back blocks...

he has a fragile nogin.

I like the signing. So far I like all the off season moves.

Would love to see t-bum ride off into the sunset after this off-season and Greer to actually get to BE the GM

I love the move. T-Bum playing Casino with all these slots. Go get me Jimmy Graham you worthless bum

I'm going to be honest, I saw some promising things out of our OL late last season.

Jesse Davis is 100% a keeper and I think he has All-Pro potential. He looked absolutely dominant at times despite the fact that he was being asked to play a new position for the first time. Everywhere we put the guy, he played well.

Ja'Wuan James will apparently be back, and when healthy he has been a good right tackle. Tunsil cleaned things up and finished strong at LT and I expect continued improvement there. We also saw acceptable backup / depth play from guys like Sam Young and Eric Smith.

I feel like the OL situation isn't nearly as dire as it was two years ago when we had to cut three guys mid-season because they were straight up traffic cones.
Ah yes potential, another overused word around here ( I heard fiery a lot in the Wilson thread lol). Still waiting on James potential, will Tunsil reach his potential? Our center has the potential to have his career over before training camp is over. Whatever happened to Asiata's potential?

Hate this move...
32, hasn't played a full season in years, was a major disappointment in NE, now moving on from Brady, his #'s aren't going up.

Should've kept Landry if this was their big plan. Wilson and Amendola are not going to cut it.

This infuriates me! Am I mistaken that WR was far down on the list of needs?? How about a TE, G, LB??

So we let Landy walk, invested several picks in Caroo, picked up a 4th receiver from the Chiefs for 8mil yr, and now we pick up Amendola?? I feel like we are going to pay him no less than 6mil yr, which puts him and Wilson @ 14mil......and we could have just paid Landry. Isn't this supposed to a slot heavy draft too?? We could have picked up a slot WR in the 3rd or 4th.

I HATE TANNENBAUM

while i agree with you, im too exhausted getting stressed about what the dolphins are doing anymore. All I want is a G, is that too much to ask for?

Love it as long as the money is right. Very smart and hard nose guy. A real team player

Ozzy rules!!

Depends on what he got paid, but I'm still upset Landry is gone. Why couldn't they have just signed Landry 2 years ago. It's so frustrating.

Look into Miami's WR room

You mean most fans here. You act like they’ve made a good move so far.

I can appreciate a lot of the frustration. I share it too given that we've had one playoff game in 100 years....but it gets silly when people post nothing but negative about every single thing they read. If you read some people's posts it would seem that we don't have a rising star at CB in X, upward trending DB's in Lippett and Tankersly, smart signing in Mcdonald, a seemingly electric weapon in Grant showing signs of serious contribution, a very solid WR in stills, Drake, Jones, etc..

Almost all of these good players were brought in by this regime. I get that they make some boneheaded moves when it comes to money but the talent scouting on this team is not horrendous. We have a lot of young rising stars.

The best thing about these last couple signings is that it doesn't appear that we are in rebuild mode, and this Tannehill trade nonsense can be put to rest. There is nothing stupid about signing a vet receiver if the comp is reasonable. It makes sense.
