Armando - More details on the Tannehill Philbin relationship

Tannehill is mentally weak. Gase will figure it out. Hopefully he does before he gets fired and they bring in yet another person to fix the unfixable QB.

Remember how everyone was at pains to say of Joe Philbin: "he's a good man"? Remember that?

Don't be mean. He's a good man. He did his best. He just wasn't the right guy. But he's a good man.

Yeah. **** that. Turns out throwing out Seinfeld quotes doesn't make you a good man. Being religious doesn't make you a good man.

Joe Philbin: not a good man.

Just because he's a good guy doesn't mean he cant recognize a crappy qb and call him out for it.

Mentally weak? You serious? There are many valid criticisms of Tannehill, but mentally weak is not one. Most other QBs who have been hit as many times as him would be mental mush right now, but he just keeps going and taking the hits.

Philbin won't get another job in the league other than power point specialist in Green Bay. Tells you all you need to know about his abilities and football aptitude.

He was weasley and passive aggressive and trying to throw his quarterback under the bus instead of pointing the finger at the coaches he hired. His behavior as described by Mando is not the behavior of a good man. It's the behavior of a ****boy.

He's a very very bad man

If this is true, why did they stick with Philibin going into this year after signing Tannehill to an extension?

Either Philbin was lying to Ross or this story is false.

Just doesn't make sense.

I've said this for a while, and nobody believes me, but very few people inside the Dolphins organization is ride or die with Ryan Tannehill.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
The list of people who actually support him, believe in him, think he's special is VERY short. But you'll figure that out eventually.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
People support him publicly because they fear the backlash you get from not supporting him (hand raised), but it's not a secret in Davie.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
The 1st time the team actually believed the coaches were aware there was a problem was before the Oakland game. Then Joe Philbin backed down

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
But when you don't support Ryan Tannehill you get shown the door. See the Dolphins receivers from 2014 for example.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland didn't believe in Chad Henne either. Didn't stop them from putting him back there as the team's starting QB.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
You can't sell a franchise without a QB. The Dolphins are TOO OBSESSED with selling Ryan Tannehill. Unhealthy!

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
Bill Lazor wasn't a Ryan Tannehill fan either. Their complex relationship eventually ran it's course and he was shown the door.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
And while you'll make excuses about offensive line (they were an issue because of Jason Fox),keep in mind when healthy Tannehill wasn't dope

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly
Honest truth, there's only 1 player who FIRMLY believes in Ryan Tannehill on the team. Unwavering belief. Everyone else wants him to compete

Everyone else wants him to finally be held accountable, and be criticized like everyone else for their failures (doesn't happen).

Big man joe throwing his qb under the bus after the fact

Go make a PowerPoint on why the next franchise should hire you as a road game trip coordinator

He's a very very bad man

A reference Joe would appreciate.

maybe Sean Payton will fix Tannehill when he arrives

On another note, this makes me like Gase more than I had before. By all accounts he forms genuine relationships with his players, especially QBs. Already an upgrade from Failbin

Thats fine, but none of it changes the fact Ryan was a god awful qb this past season.

He won no games for us, he showed no improvement, and the more Teams are seeing from him, the easier time they are having shutting him down. Teams have a strong scouting report on him.

These are very bad signs.

He was a bottom tier QB this year, to expect him to turn into a franchise QB, is insane.

Exactly. These revelations are totally inappropriate. They're lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!
