Sapp was there but it was partially by accident. The Patriots receiver not getting the ball actually blocked Sapp right into whoever the pass was going to and it hit off him up in the air.

Next time it'll be Sparano. Ireland deserves the axe too if the season goes badly. The guy lacks any foresight. It's like they're the only only ones who follow the Dolphins who didnt know we needed an upgrade at RG/RT/nickel CB/FS/SS

And isn't Larry Johnson gonna get some guaranteed money now too even though they can't even play him and are already looking to replace him with another washed up vet like Westbrook?!?! Ridiculous!
 
Hopefully Sporano can swallow his pride and admit that he made the wrong decision and bring back Will Allen. Otherwise we will probably sign UDFAs that were cut by other teams and never went through training camp with us, or we will sign FA veterans that started 5-6 games over the last two seasons and were cut.

I'll always remember Sapp for his 1 play he made all last year. After being abused on 3rd downs all last year, he finally makes a play, gets an INT, has an open field with nothing in his way of a pick 6 and he TOSSES THE BALL BACKWARDS TO VONTAE DAVIS! Fond memories
 
BTW not only does Benny get his full 1.9M salary - but had he been cut prior to week 1 he would have got nothing.

So his 200 yard 3TD performance last night earned him a ****load of money.
 
About a year too late, but after last night we had no choice. Talk about Deja Vu. Last year we open at home against New England on a Monday night and have an utter special teams meltdown in a blowout and the STs coach is gone the next day. Now it's Sapp and another blowout. Isn't this all so funny?
 
Please sign Nate Jones. He's nasty in the slot.

Is Will Allen an upgrade over Sapp? Probably. Is he an upgrade over Carroll? Definitely. Is he somebody you can count on? Doubtful. There's a reason nobody has picked Will Allen up. The Dolphins arent the only team who are allowed to sign the guy. We're pretty much ****ed at nickel corner until next off-season because once again our FO doesnt have the foresight to make upgrades when there's players available. See: RG/RT/CB/S

No, LJ doesnt get guaranteed money because he was signed back after the season started.
