watson was in the 1st game against colts and looked great, watch and see how he does this year, the man is going to be one of the top te's in the league soon.....
Personally, I think Watson is going to be a star.
On another note, lets not get ahead of ourselves people. We have the potential to be good, but as of now, all it is IS potential.

Oh, come on man. That's the best you can do when you're looking for an argument? Do I really need to whip out the list of Super Bowl MVPs and show you some guys who came up big in one game but weren't anywhere NEAR the top of the field as far as their position goes? Seriously, check it out.
Point taken, but Booker is nearing the end of his career whereas Branch is just entering his prime. He already has a few SB rings , with an MVP to boot. To suggest Marty is better is debatable.

Marty is still in his 20's bub.

Ok now, you are really annoying me...Your last post, you wanted Feeley to be a third stringer behind Sage and now you want Boston to the practice squad.

What a joke this guy!!!!
That's why he has been on my ignore list for quite some time! Try it, it's cool!!

Nearing the end of his career and Branch is entering his prime? There's THREE YEARS difference in their years of birth (1976/1979)!

I'd hate to know what you think about the stage of career Marvin Harrison is entering. He's three years older than Booker.

Show me a team that has anything more than potential right now. Last I checked, none of them are playing games...

i like the boston signing! think about it this way he has to be on his best behavior because one more screw up and his carrer might be done. he knows that thats why he will be on the straight!

You could have said that about Lawrence Phillips at his last stop, too.

It's going to come down to his health and his desire to play. If he still has decent physical skills and wants it enough to keep his nose clean, he'll be okay.

Why is everyone reacting like we just signed Marvin freakin' Harrison? Boston hasn't done s-it in almost 3 years now. I'll start celebrating like most of you guys if he actually makes it through training camp without either hurting himself, taking some form of drugs, or assaulting someone old enough to be his dad.

We're not all acting like we signed Marvin Harrison. Admit it, though -- this is a limited risk, high potential reward sort of signing. Time will tell if we get the short end of the stick like we did last year, but there are times when it does make sense to roll the dice on one of these guys.

It is low-risk high reward- but some people on here are celebrating like we just picked up Jerry Rice in his prime. People just need to chill and look at the it realistically instead of acting loony and delusional like David Boston is the last piece of the Super Bowl puzzle or something. I hope he proves me wrong, but he hasn't done jack s*it in going on 3 years, so I'll tame my excitement until the moron proves he's more than a roided-out flake with anger problems and a coke habit.
