Carter is a Waste

McKnight cannot be the punt returner. The one thing that is absolutely necessary for a punt returner is good hands and can anyone tell me what McKnights biggest problem is??? That's right! Hands of steel. I hope he stays around and does well but he needs to work on his concentration. That's why there's no way he'd work as a PR.

Good point. I think we should draft a speedy guy in the later rounds.

Heh, you think Ogden had a problem fumbling? Imagine McKnight doing it. ;)
 - I'd rather have Minor over McKnight or you for that matter

guess they agree with you:

NFL | Columbia's Reese Workout Numbers Update - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
8:57 PT: RB/FB/return specialist Johnathan Reese (Columbia) ran in front of scouts again this week, bettering his time from last week's 4.52 outing. In front of the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, Reese was clocked at 4.51 in the "40". He also posted a 3.97 short-shuttle, 40" vertical jump and a 9-foot-10 broad jump while measuring in at 6'1/2" and 219 lbs.

Are all the coaches using new stop watches this year?!?

Why are we looking at a return man who runs a 4.5 forty?
I thought return men were supposed to be blazers so they can hit the crease full speed and blast right through or double back on the field and outrun everybody to the corner, when did a 4.5 forty qualify as blazing.
Am I missing something here?
All the top backs in the draft this year have times in the 4.5 range, doesn't that seem odd.?
I thought 4.4 and under was considered fast.

this guy is more like that R guy the Jets used to have Johnson at 6'1/2" and 219 lbs., but I think I heard they are timing them on a slower surface

The only reason I could see us drafting a slow punt returner like Reese is because he could become a starting WR and he would establish the Ivy League connection with Jay Fiedler.

I would immediately leave for the mens room! :D

On a serious note..........would someone explain to me why one player is used as a KR and not a PR. Seems to me you catch the ball, size up your blocking and run like hell.
