funny i don't remember saying anything other than sanchez is garbage.
the jets as a team were better the last few years even though we beat you guys straight up. also i remeber saying that henne sucked also . so what i'm basically saying is

If Henne is better and Miami had the better OL, RBs, WRs, Defense, etc... how come you were never close to us in the standings the last 3 years?

I only heard Mangold had but the truth is, none of us know how many players spoke out against him. There is a serious problem in that locker room and I am not convinced Rex has the personality to fix it.

if you honestly think sanchez is the answer for your team, than great good for you, as i dolphins fan i hope you guys keep believing in sanchez.
that way the only team the phins have to worry about are the cheatriots.

How were they not Super Bowl contenders? 10 wins, winners of their division, and Peyton Manning.

You don't have to be a 13 win team to be a SB contender, look at the Giants, look at the Packers. Any time you're a 10 win team with Peyton, you're a contender.

Losers at HOME in the WC round(b/c Manning couldn't get one more 1st down)

I think you at least have to get to a div rd game and be competitive in that game to be a true SB contender.

The Gaints WON their WC game.

so with that line of thinking , next your gonna tell me that at 7-9 the seahawks last year were sb contenders because they made it to wc round ? lmao
man just face it the jets suck as much as the dolphins do.

were they competitive in the div rd? No, I said at least getting to the div rd and being competitive but how is a team that loses in the WC rd a SB contender? what do the Jets have to do w/ this?
 
Junc, you know I respect your opinions as a football fan but I honestly think that your vision on Mark Sanchez is clouded. Just like mine was on Chad Henne. Both are not very good QBs, let alone franchise QBs. I firmly believe that if Sanchez wasn't drafted No. 5 overall, he would get canned after this season. While I don't think that Matt Moore is a franchise QB either, he is still better than Mark Sanchez. Sanchez performed well in the playoffs his first two years but he's just too inconsistent and teams seem to have figured him out lately. You're not going anywhere with him at QB.

maybe you fail to see the comparisons, but that's ok
sometimes a team like the seahawks get lucky and catch a team off guard and advance in the playoffs, like beating the saints in the wild card game.
and others like the jets can ride a strong defence, as far as the qb play will take you.
and with sanchez at qb ( imo ) they are not sb contenders. just because they lost competitively in the div rounds.
i find it amazing didn't this thread start of about peyton manning making the dolphins contenders ?

Some seem to feel that Peyton is a super hero I guess. You know, gets teams to the Super Bowl with a single bound... :idk:

I'm not even going to get started on his health issues which certainly are not resolved at this point and may not be before the start of next season....

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I am deluded b/c I so badly want him to succeed? we'll see, I am very confident I'm right about him but time will tell.
