Dolphins are hiring Butch Barry as new OL coach

Wilson had a **** line in front of him the majority of his career in Seattle, too.

FWIW NC state has always had seemingly good offensive lines and when he was in Raliegh he would just take off and leave the pocket scrambling randomly behind the line of scrimmage for zero reason

It's so hard to tell how a new assistant coach will do.......we've had so many OL coaches over the last few years it's become a comedy....I don’t know how he'll do but I'm just hoping for the best.

Agree.

This hire begs the question ... is L. Jeanpierre still on the staff?

Why do they keep hiring unproven or failed line coaches. This is a coaching position that if he succeeds, Dolphins are in great shape, if he fails, it brings everything else down...passing game, running game, defense.

Just get an experienced successful O-Line coach already, and stop leaving things to chance if you want to succeed.

No one knows who Miami tried to get. Hiring Barry doesn't mean he was 1st choice

Any word on who will be replacing him next year? Sitting on pins and needles here wondering who will coach our OL in 2024.
