Dolphins Exploring Osi Umenyiora

Brady comes to the line and sees Wake , Dansby , Misi , Osi , JT all blitzing ... not bad.

They may morgage the future and get this guy and the Giants center plus Orton.

No 2nd or 3rd picks next year but a solid team with a chance to be very good.

Screw the money . They'll work it out.

Dude forget Orton Denver is not going to be stupid enough to start Tebow....the guy is not ready to start!

This move doesn't make sense but I would be lying if I said the thought of that defense didn't get me excited.

So, we signed JT just to cut him...purely a payback move by the front office. But Wake, Osi, Misi, + JT would be a killer at rushing the passer! Reminiscent of the 07 Giants team. If Henne can just lift his game a little, this team will go VERY far with this defense.

guys sorry to be debbie downer but its a great move osi for a 2nd BUT its not going to be us just heard on nfln that there is like 5 teams mentioned but we was not one of them we are after somebody But its not osi i mean i wouldnt care to have him but not in the shape we are in we need a QB more than any other possion so we can all clam bk down because osi isnt coming to miami by trade or draft picks

which means we are after Ohara and Leonard Davis. . BIG SPLASH . . SMH

Osi?? For What? I do not see where he fits into our 3-4 scheme.

As I first reported on Monday, if Giants lower demands for Osi Umenyiora from a 1st rnd pick, BAL, SEA, NE and possibly ATL interested

god no not the pats

New reports on rotoworld says the giants are thinking of dropping there demands to a 2nd round and the pats are in this group as well along with the Ravens.

Yeah the move wouldn't make too much sense considering how much they would be spending, with it not being a need. Of course, it would make the defense that much better, but it already has the potential to be #1.

well look out if pats want him pats will get him like i said if the pats tell any team (not in our divison) to come on the field get on your knees and suck my in front of tv they would do it

We don't need osi or want him because our lb coach was his at NY and they didn't get along

I like the idea....but I kind of think this is one of those moves that just won't work out if made. It's not going to make our defense significantly better, so it's a luxury. I actually like the draft next year, so I'd prefer to keep our picks for the time being.

It would definitely make us better, but it makes 2 of our acquisitions almost irrelevant or overpaid as back ups. Wake and Osi would start on the outside, I'd assume Misi would come inside with Dansby. Then you have Burnett and JT (who is just a 3rd down pass rusher anyways) with nowhere to go. We wouldnt take Osi or wake off the field for JT, and there would really never be a reason to take dansby or Misi off the field either unless Burnett is good in coverage (which i'm not sure about).
